  • Noticed the Amazon vouchers now have parity with Paypal, the 25 one has risen to 3125SB from 2500SB to redeem.

Absolute disaster but not a major surprise given the other things that have happened.

Of the Amazon vouchers, those for £1, £3 and (for the big hitters) £100 are still at the rate of 100SB per £1.  What annoys me is that all the John Lewis vouchers have also gone up, the price for £10 increasing from 1000 to 1250 SB;  fortunately, I redeemed several in the last week, which I haven't even spent at Waitrose yet.  Ah well, since it was always stated to be a sale, and it went on for much longer than most of their sales, I think we must all have been expecting it to end at some point.

The SB on the free daily game was cut by 40%, 2 of the 7 daily swagcodes were lost when they dropped the weekends, collector bills were slashed - I would usually get 3 each of the biggest bills = 129SB that would now be 66SB with far more searching required
Now depending on the voucher redemptions cost an extra 25% - next team challenge will do it for me

A £5 Amazon voucher took 50 days just playing the free games it would now take over 100 days.
I wonder why MSE continue to promote a site that sometimes can pay pence per hour?

I feel really annoyed about this. Perhaps we should all stop doing SB

you can’t really wait for £100 as you need to complete squares and your account is quite fragile

shouldnt we get a payrise not the other way round

How are people doing on the collectors bills. I have 12, 10, 5 & 4, two searches a day. Got 10 & 5 today, both repeat wins. Wondering if it is necessary/ worth the slog for the third win?

Depends what your time is worth - 1 win is enough for me - if a second search takes 5 mins and wins say a 10 that's equal to £1.20 an hour, needs to be closer to 10 times that for me as Y-live and others pay £12 (or more) an hour

(just got 10sb with my first search, still missing the 3 below that)

mjm3346, thank you for your response.
Joined Y-live (after a recommendation from you) Feb 1st but whilst I agree that return for time is far far better than SB the volume is low, completed 5 short surveys so far for £13 so at present not a viable replacement for SB.

    Not worth it.
