). However, he also said that manufacturers bring out their new ranges in May, so that's the best time to buy one of the previous year's stock, as stores will be wanting to get rid of older equipment to create space for the new.
I'll try to make myself hold on 'til then,
but even at that point my budget wil be £300 & no more, as I'll have to save up for it.

We saw on today in Asda called 'On' I think. It's £398. Anyone know if this is any good?`0

I've spent quite a bit of time over the last week looking at tv's in stores and would say a LOT of the cheap sets look like they are cheap sets with poor picture and or build quality, I'd advise trying to actually see a tv set up in a store before spending any money.
I've ordered an LG 32LB75 from Novatech , £452 with next day delivery.
All reviews I've read or heard of the LB75 are good , 5 out of 5 in what hifi magazine and 5 stars in what plasma magazine reviews and this ~

Very happy with it at that price as I saw it in Currys at £599.99 ( was £799.99  ) the picture quality was excellent and it looked stunning too.0 -

I realise its a few days since you posted the argos offer on the JVC but when you click on the link you left it advertises the TV @ £499. Was it like that for you and the price reduced when you went to the till or was it then showing on the web page at £399? I hope this question makes sense. Thanks - sally0 -
No, the have run out of stock on the JVC. They had £399 and a £499 models. I wanted to purchase the £399 TV, but unfortunately I ordered it too late.0

Anyone still looking at tellies really should check out empire direct prices and then getting John Lewis to price match. You'll get a 5 year warranty free as standard too.
Even if its just over another good deal... what do you value 5 years warranty at?The John Lewis customer service is excellent and if the TV fails.. you're in good hands.
