I think there may be a surprise slight drop, however with the 5% energy price hike this month I’m not sure when that gets reflected.

Well not in this months figure, inflation figure is worked out based on the last 12 completed months.

It wasn't, CPI, CPIH and RPI indices were all up Nov-Dec 2022. So if the index stays the same the 12 month headline figure will be down.
