are you willing to put their name and approx age here then we could look
unless anyone thinks that is a bad idea but I can't offhand think of a reason
ps a death cert is issued by a doctor so the hospital is your first port of call1 -

For obvious reasons I’d rather not but I have looked on the data base myself there’s nothing? There’s a few with the same name but wrong year or quarterkm1500 said:are you willing to put their name and approx age here then we could look

ask the hospital.if the death was registered.1

Hospitals don't register deaths (unless perhaps in rare cases where there is no known family)..... they may supply a cause of death certicate but that isn't the same thing.
Unless there was an inquest someone would have needed to go to the registration office and deal with it in person .... did they ?
If there was an inquest the entry could appear in the index some months after the death occurred.
Search here...

Otherwise speak to the coroner's office

They have the telephone conversation with his wife on 20th December 2019 but no register of death thanks for the link but that is what Iv used to search and there’s nothing? It searches 1 year either side of death date but nothing? Not sure if his wife did anything else as she is also now deceased we don’t know0

Is the surname something that can have different spellings? Thompson is one example I can think of, you may have to think latterly. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

sounds as though the death wasn't registered and that is why it is not appearing in the search
did you or anyone actually do it ?
