  • Morning all,

Cashed out £6.04 on surveys, rounded it up to £6.50 and sent to HMF. It stands at £2621.33 now!

I've had confirmation of all three removals men coming out for quotes next week. So need to get the kids to tidy their rooms really.

I walked FLD this morning on the longest walk he's had since becoming sick! we did over 2 miles and half a mile was at my pace because I needed to get to the inpost lockers before they all filled up  we don't have many of them here and once they are emptied in the morning you have about two hours before they are full again :hushed:
Then I let FLD dictate where he wanted to go, he pulled me over to a field so we went that way and he had a little run around, I couldn't believe it really considering how sick he was the other week! They do like to scare us eh.
We did walk past the EA on the way home but the lady dealing with the sale wasn't in so I didn't get to speak to her, I couldn't be bothered relaying where we were at to the young guy in there, we did it before and he didn't actually take anything in, he just passed the message on to ring us back and we had to say it all again

Need to make a spag bol today, have some mushrooms and a pepper in but no onions. I forgot them on the shop, but we have managed okay without getting any all week. It is amazing how you can adapt if you put your mind to it
Will go put the lentils in some water to soak in a bit before cooking.

I hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine that we have here. I am going to go and tidy up the garden a little whilst it is nice. A branch on a tree needs cutting down and chopping into bits, it has died off, we think because the tree blew over and must have snapped some roots. Oddly when we put it back upright to see if it would be okay it flowered afterwards and then decided to die :disappointed: bit sad about it as it's a very pretty tree. Also I am slowly emptying out pots into the green bin, they seem to have been mostly taken over by weeds (wheat mainly from the fields

I am planning another NSD today I don't need anything.
    Think that is all really...

  • Haven't made any OP as putting it all into savings but our mortgage is now at £96,625! I will enjoy this low number for a while until we add another 20+ to it 🙈

  • £10 Sent over to HMF

Absolutely exhausted myself on Friday. I just don't know when to stop sometimes.
I'd already walked the dog two miles then decided to tackle the garden and the outside of the property boundary as it was very over grown. Four hours later.....
Then I had other jobs I needed to do. I ended up racking up 7 miles on my pedometer before it died 😂

Then I had to take the kids to air cadets. Well they decided to come home at 9:40 and tell us they are going to an all day event tomorrow (now yesterday) and needed uniforms ironed and packed and a lunch ready. I was pretty flabbergasted at the lack of notice but DP and I sprung into action 10pm on Friday ironing packing and making lunches 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was already pretty exhausted from my day but there we go.

Dropped them off 7am yesterday after a rubbish night sleep because I hadn't had any time to relax before bed. Then we had to go to the shops for a couple of DIY items (under twenty quid so we were good on the spends) we had a few issues we thought might flag up on the home buyers survey so sorted them out yesterday. Well DP did to be exact. I flaked off into bed for a nap. I actually couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.

After I got up I was in agony from gardening 😂 it's a better workout than the gym is! So we watched a movie and ate bad food after I'd been good all week. Total fail there. But I did reign it in and I stopped eating at 7 (we had to have a later dinner because the kids came back after 6).

Today I need to just blitz the house quickly for the removals men to see what is what (as at the moment I'm drowning in washing piles covering furniture and sides 🤣) and also the surveyor to wander around. Both are due around the same time tomorrow, both have given me two hour slots, so hopefully they won't turn up at the same time.

I feel like the survey is our last hurdle to get over. And after an internet search of what they look at I think we're ok.. we've done the house up to a good standard so covered most of it! We shall see though!....

I wonder if they turn up at the same time if that would make them feel like they have to underbid each other….

If only it were the removals all turning up together, but they are spread across the week! Today it is the survey guy and one removals company.
