I think this looks pretty tight ! I am
    impressed
I have cancelled all my subscriptions on prime as things kept randomly turning up
planning to cancel prime from end this month

hope your skin allergy has gone away - I had a mad reaction to an expensive skin cream with marine collagen in (everything puffed up and I could hardly see!) so now I am
    v wary about new things

you are inspiring me to get a vision board started again / once I have finished this major declutter I am doing
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

  • @LadyWithAPlan I have managed somehow to get on to my  prime on the laptop after it kept refusing me access! So I am just messaging DS1 to make sure he doesn't have any subscribe and saves for the next week. He is even more remote than I am in the middle of Wales so I won't cancel if he needs it...but I have cancelled ALL my s&s like you...as I had so many things turning up that I had forgotten about I am overrun with walkers crisps and deodorants

And the rash has gone.....I am not sure what it was as Drs appointments are like 3 weeks wait here for non urgent things so I decided to detox, no sugar and no gluten...I saw a noticeable difference in a few days. I haven't been perfect with the no gluten or sugar but it has all but cleared up! DP thinks it was aggravated by a faith in nature shower gel I had bought.. it wasn't cheap either. I think he was right I haven't used it since.

Our vision board is almost all but manifested  just need that completion now all other little bits have fallen into place though!

  • Afternoon all, so as above, I have managed to somehow get onto my prime on the laptop after it kept telling me I needed to go through account recovery?? I won't question it, I am in! And just asking DS if I can pause it till payday.

I've sold something on FB this afternoon. I totally forgot it was even for sale  until I got the message asking to collect it a few minutes ago. Only £6 but was a large item (not valuable just a big water jug) and took up an entire shelf so made lots of space which is what I am more impressed with.

I have made DD's hamper up with just the b'n'm stuff because I haven't even received dispatch emails yet for the other bits ordered  It said, when I ordered it 3-5 days. I just went back onto the website and all I can see now is 4-7 days delivery!!! Huh??? So I've made up what I had. Thank goodness I bought all those bits. I got her a card, banner and some balloons and got it all ready for her.

DP & I were going to pop into a cafe for a hot drink in the city but I said let's go home. So saved money there. Still spent £15. It won't matter too much if I can pause the prime....but that isn't set yet.
Got dinner in. Nothing else to report.... !

  • DS1 has answered his texts. Hallelujah! There is a miracle in itself.......
So I have paused the plan and he gets paid on the 31st, so I said I would resume it on payday and he will send the half he owes across after his pay day  that's brill news and I don't have to stress about that one any more.

  • Afternoon all, NSD today finally. I think I've had a fair few this month but I've not kept a tally. I seem to be slacking off on keeping up with the daily budget, NSD tally and food planning. It's like I can only do two out of three and the other slacks off 🤣. Must make more effort next month.

Kids are busy, one has a friend over the other has his cousin on an online game with a mic so it's like I've got four kids in the house anyway.

Made flapjacks, jam tarts for them all as snacks (and us- we love the flapjack!)

Watched a movie this afternoon whilst waiting for it all to cook and did a few surveys. Have had a little tidy around but honestly the kids just go around behind me messing it all up so I'm not invested too much in my pristine home.....once they're back at school that will commence 🤣.

No dispatch notification on DD presents yet which is really disappointing. I'm praying it will turn up on Monday but not holding out much hope. I've pre warned her she may be getting presents over two days instead of one. She's okay with it as she's intending on going out with friends and shopping on her actual birthday (will be nice and quiet hopefully for them as kids all still at school). I need to give her some money for that on her birthday.

Nothing else to report for now 😊

  • Feeling in a little bit of a lull today.

Will be another NSD so that is good. Haven't got anything planned really, had a nice bath to use up some of the little bits of bath products that I found in a cupboard, read my book...I also got to the bottom of two moisturisers this week (why do we collect so many of these things without using them up in order), also got rid of a cleaner as I got to the end of that....nice little declutter in that way anyway. I have put all other bits I want using up in the bathroom and told everyone to try to use those up before getting any new products out.

It's miserable out, dark, and gloomy. My mood is reflective of this I think.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day as it is DD birthday, can't quite believe she will be 16!
Still no news on her presents, am very disappointed and not sure I will use them again. Very glad I spent extra on the other bits now. I have some balloons to blow up and a banner but I will do it tomorrow morning as she goes to bed after me and gets up late.

Waiting on payout on a few surveys I did they are pending for ages on prolific at the moment. Unsure what I will do with the money, bolster the EF? Or put towards the prime that will be due on payday......hmm... probably the latter so that payment doesn't impact my budget too much.

Not much else to report as I am mainly playing a waiting game right now........

Ahhh Happy Birthday to you DD tomorrow. My DD was 16 in May. And as the youngest it feels more of a milestone! Such a shame to bits you ordered have not come, so frustrating, but im sure she will still have a lovely day x
