Thanks @Watty1 the only time I've ever had physio is when I was pregnant and my hip dysplasia started. I had to wait so long for an appointment my pregnancy was nearly up and the exercises caused more pain than help and I kind of gave up hope on them after that and haven't tried another. Suppose I should give it another go 🫣😁.
Thanks @ladybird1106 it does feel like things are shifting and our luck is starting to go up, I mean it can only go down for so long right? 🫣🤣 & @LilSmiler 😊 definitely feels like we have more positives this week. Just had to wait for December for things to lighten up 😳! X
I'm back from the gym, and used the sauna after for 20 mins. Many of the ladies from aqua aerobics went into the steam room so I made way for the sauna. Promise I'm not completely antisocial 🤣 however there is about eight different conversations going on after one of those sessions in the steam room and I don't find it particularly relaxing. I was the only one in the sauna until three men joined, one by one. Each one said a pleasantry, good morning 😊, ooo time to relax 😊, hello 🤗. I'd respond similarly. And then they'd proceeded to sit down quietly, close eyes and relax quietly. Of course we could hear murmurs through the walls of the steam room chit-chat but it didn't affect us. We all hid out quietly and had a relaxing sauna 😆. The difference between men and women I think 😆. I was channelling my Yang energy instead of Yin ☯️ 🧘🏻♀️.
I've already popped to the shop for some more coat hangers and a box to match the ones I had which will sit on top of the wardrobe. I've messaged cousin and said I will go see her tomorrow. And we're working our way through washing so we can pack for the weekend and DP has a Xmas party to go to tomorrow too so needs to make sure he's got stuff for that.
I'm going to prep dinner for later. I'm meeting friend in pub near her work, I am driving so can't drink (don't really want to either to be honest) and I might see if they have food there and if so something suitable for me and then eat there rather than at home..but I'll play it by ear. I'd rather save spending money for the weekend. But if I do eat out dinner is prepared and DP just needs to cook it. Now I have refunds back I've enough money for all the things I budgeted for ☺️ but not a lot extra... I'm off to print a calendar out for this month as we've so many parties and socials around work and school etc and events booked I don't want to forget anything.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Your friend may not be allowed to charge you for physio until she's qualified, but does need to have case studies to write up, so hopefully it'll all work out. I'm sure she'll tell you if she thinks you need to see someone more experienced.2

I find physios are a bit like counsellors. Some you click with, some you don’t and you are absolutely within your rights to walk away from someone you don’t feel safe with, isn’t listening to you etc. I’ve had some brilliant ones and others that just hurt me!KKAs at 15.12.25:
- When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £227,385
- OPs to mortgage = £12,881 Estd. interest saved = £6,203 to date

So agree with KK. I've had physios that have not helped at all, and others that in one session with a firm "do these exercises daily" have nailed the problem. The 'one visit and specific exercises' lady is now my "go to" and I've sent so many pals to her. The ones that have had me back time and time again and left me in pain have often not been the ones that helped. As KK says, some you just click with.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
One of my favourite physios even managed to diagnose and fix me remotely over the phone when I was travelling for work. So finding one you can really communicate effectively is well worth the effort,4

Evening all,
I've had a busy day. Feeling very tired now. I dropped DP off at the train station quite early. Then I went to see my cousin, she looked tired and quite weak after her heart surgery at the weekend. Hopefully she'll continue to improve though. It was the first time I'd driven out to her new house which was literally in the sticks. I managed to do my usual, get stuck behind a tractor, overtake the tractor to be stuck behind a huge lorry 🙈. A 50 minute drive took nearly an hour and half, it was pouring with rain, the car is now filthy from all the rain and mud being thrown back on to the car 🙈. I also managed to do the same on the way home. Although this time stuck behind a tractor on super bendy roads so I couldn't overtake. Got quite fed up especially as visibility was low because of how dark it was and the fact that the tractor kept throwing dirt all over my car - and I kept my distance! I ended up diverting through a village my friend lives in and called her, she was free, so I popped to her for a quick catch up instead of going straight home. That was nice and unexpected and we've agreed another date to meet. She's a little flakey though so I won't hold her to that one.
A NSD and I also got given a bag of beetroot freshly picked! I didn't eat very much today so felt a bit lightheaded when I got home. Made a huge bowl of pasta and sauce and cooked some chickpeas to throw in. I nearly gave in to a takeaway 🤭 and pleased to say I stayed strong and ate pasta instead which is probably better for me anyway.
DP is away until tomorrow now and hopefully he's packed enough stuff for the weekend away as the plan is to collect him from the train station and leave straight away for our b&b.
My new physio is one of my best friends from school. We don't really speak that much anymore but we've always kept in contact and see one another now and then. So I know I can trust her plus and communicate well with her 🥰. I've been onto the dr and they want to see me rather than just give me a note 🙄 so I've a nearly four week wait for that appointment. I'll have to carry on moaning at work/ carrying on with my busy days till they either give in and move me or I get a note. Thankfully we're on the wind down to Xmas now anyway so it should be ok next couple of weeks (fingers crossed 🤞🏻).
All my wrapping up is done. And I'm pretty much done with presents. I do need to make a meal plan for Xmas and a Xmas list, and buy some food. But that's about it. I actually have some nut roast type thing in the freezer already so just need veg really, pudding and snacks. We don't go all out really. I remember growing up and we'd have three courses after a big fry up in the morning. My poor mother would be in the kitchen most of the day and I have never wanted that so I stick to one big meal and a pudding (pre made) makes it much cheaper too 🤭😉. Already got some Bailey's in and beers and a vegan version of Bailey's (well close enough) and some fizzy drinks. I think I'm doing quite well really this year compared to the last two 😆.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Morning all, well DD reckons she turned my alarm off because I looked like I needed the sleep and apparently I'd slept through twenty minutes of the alarm trying to wake me up 🤭😏🤣. I woke up eventually and checked to see why the alarm hadn't gone off and it said 9:27 for the next alarm which I thought most bizarre 🤣 I never set random times but apparently after talking to DD she said she'd set it in a hurry...I thought I'd gone mad.
It's very chilly here today 🥶. I will pack lots of layers for our trip away. I've dropped DD off to school and DP will be on his way home soon. He sounded chirpy over messages so looks like he didn't go overboard on the free drinks for once 🤭🤣.
A friend has asked if she can pop by today I've said yes if before a certain time. All I have to do is get showered, dressed and packed. And that will just be lots of jumpers and scarves 🤣. I'm looking forward to seeing DS1 tomorrow, although first sighting of him will be dropping DD off to him first thing and DP and I will be leaving to go out on our own first thing. DD did not want to see green ponds in Bath 🙄. Good because seeing green ponds is expensive. So DS and DD can catch up 😁. We'll all meet in Bath later on. I've got cash to spend and some money on a card but I'd love to not go over my budget, but I know how expensive everything is and I have DD to factor in too. Even though she apparently has more money than us all 😁 oh to be young and have no bills eh.
Right I'm off to get dressed as it's really cold ❄️ 🥶 heating hasn't kicked in yet.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500
