Is your DD buttering you up for a favour… ? 😉
Or is it that she saw how hard you had worked for her, on her room, whilst she had been at her dad’s … who didn’t care about her or make any effort for her at all, and now she is understanding quite what she has in you a bit more …? 😉😊❤️

Morning 🌞
I'm not sure what got into DD but I like it 🤣 long may it continue 🤞🏻
This morning I've already sent an email off to the bra shop- the one DP bought me has a seam coming away on the very first day I bought it. At £42 for the bra I'm not impressed. 5 working days they have to get back to me.
I'm going to have a quick tidy around this morning and put a wash on. Hoover and prep some dinners to be cooked later. I'm out with a friend from work (the other new starter) she is off this week as she has had a bereavement and also some bad news about another family member so I said I'd meet her for a cuppa. Then I intend to come back and get stuck into some bulk cooking. I may attempt to de-christmas a bit too. Otherwise that will take a whole day up at the weekend.
Won't be a NSD but hopefully a very LSD day.
We've had another spattering of snow in the night no wonder it felt so cold. I slept much better than I have in weeks though. I think the exhaustion had caught up with me so much I slept through all hot flushes 🤣. Feeling a bit more refreshed this morning than I have in weeks!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Okay after having put a wash on and tidied the kitchen and bathroom on the way through I've decided the house needs a good sort through..I unpacked in record time moving here however, that means there is hair bobbles in with the potato peeler and good glass dishes for display in with potato mashers and sage sticks in with stationary, I've found crystals in every drawer 🤪 and I'm getting super annoyed with the disorganization. Bad feng shui....so need to sort it. I've taken two drawers out to start with today.. I'd like to do four drawers if I get the chance. I moved the food I had in the cupboard above the oven at the weekend so now need to reorganise the cupboard it's gone in to and the cupboard it came out of 🤣 one cupboard/ drawer at a time though I think or it's overwhelming. The pantry cupboard with jars and condiments is the worst meaning I can't find anything and have bought about six mango chutneys one after the other and yet I've no marmite 🤣. So mission tidy is needing to start. I did the big declutter before moving so don't have much to get rid of. But will be mindful of what I'm keeping as I do it. Mindful cleaning and organizing is the key for me. So slowly slowly I reckon.
Right now I've held myself accountable to that job I will crack on with prepping for 'lentil mince' mix and also some chickpeas for snacks (soaking and cooking) and bean burgers. Will cook them all up later ...if they're prepped I've no excuse really and will have to do it!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. A favourite Mr L middle aisle deal of the year so far.....
The NOW PLAYING wooden album cover holder 👏🏻 way cheaper than amzon 😁.it's what I picked two up of and one is put aside for DS1 as he loves his record collection too 👏🏻 can't believe I'm in January and already picking up Xmas/ birthday presents 😁 how organised is that huh!
Anyway. Two house plants re-planted. Two drawers about to get it. Breakfast eaten. Eggs boiling for DS2 for after school growth spurt snacks. And chickpeas are soaking. Need to prep food yet. Friend not coming for another hour though so after my tea I'll get on with that. Feeling motivated. It is amazing what a good night sleep does for you.MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Not a NSD I went to the charity shop and bought a few records, almost picked up a couple of books too but thought I'd read what I have unread first. £4 spent ... should have been £8 I realised when I got home as a couple were double albums.
Cooked 8 burgers ran out of ingredients to cook any more. Four frozen for another day. Four for tonight with wedges (which were freebie from Mr L card last week). I have a huge pot of lentil Bolognese mix on the hob cooking - I finally got round to it. I've cheated though I've used tinned lentils as I forgot to soak dried before I went out.
Catch up with friend was good she had two dogs with her one huge one that kept trying to sit on my lap....think about scooby doo size just a tad smaller. Don't know the breed ...I was like nooo don't think so! 🤣
Feeling bit tired as I walked back for some fresh air and it was around twenty minutes then went round the CS too. Time for some food and a sit down I think...once this pot has finished cooking!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
