We need the op to clarify however he has hardly been upfront with his reasons why he's desperate to delete a message that is now weeks old, so I fear we will never know
Op you need the other phone then no other way to do it , and please don't part with your hard earned to scammers who say they can do it , they can't.
All they will say is that they have done it and you won't know otherwise , its hardly like you can ask the other person if the message has gone!0 -

So I gave someone my address who I really don't want to have it. They may come round to my place and cause trouble. The 'professional' hacker I was recommended to was on a forum. $100 for that software I listed earlier to remove it, dunno what to do0 -

At best you will lose $100 -- at worst, the other party having your address will be the least of your problems0 -
they could easily have written it down in their address book by now anyway0

"written it down" ? "address book" ?

Why would you give your address to someone you didn't want to and is probably a scammer? Use a fake address if you must! Do not send this guy any money!
The crux of this is you sent a message you now regret and want to delete it , YOU sent the message so if and when there is any fall out , you will have to act like a grown up and deal with it, I would start by apologising
Oh and next time think before you send any messages in future0 -
