Deleting old WhatsApp messages

Got a message from five weeks ago which I want deleted on WhatsApp, how do i do it? recent stuff is easy (just right click then delete), but how about older stuff when right click doesnt give the delete option?

I tried to change the date but when I went into WhatsApp it said- the date is inaccurate and your device date is inaccurate adjust your clock and try again.MikeJXE said:

What do you mean by "can't enter WhatsApp"?
Just open WhatsApp on your phone, scroll to the message and delete it.0 -
What phone do you have? When I switch off wifi, data and change the date, I went back into app but it wouldn't let me enter to see messages - saying "date is incorrect/adjust your clock"PHK said:What do you mean by "can't enter WhatsApp"?
