That's confused me too, along with approaching PPH to buy him out. I must be getting old!!
Great news that PP has been granted.

Great news re the Planning Permission being granted though I also don't understand the implications re PPH either - though nothing being due there is good news too x

Great news.
Hope the menagerie are OK tonight. We don't generally hear much (double glazing has to be good to keep out the noise of the F35s) but both cat and dog jumped out of their skin when someone VERY close let off something very loud. We now have Classic FM on with their pet classics. Stripey cat even tolerated sharing a cuddle with Stinky.

Great news on the Planning Permission, and well done to the ponies. How restrained of them not to blow the money.
I hope you are getting some peace and quiet this evening. There are fireworks here but the abysmal 'music' that can be heard all over town, including at the hospital, hasn't happened this year. I wonder if my email to the Town Council was part of that?! Perhaps they were waiting for just one more voice before pulling the plug on the offending article, and if so, that's an encouragement to everyone who's spoken up for much stricter limits on fireworks.

Bangs appear to have stopped, but we keep hearing weird noises (I thought it was the heating to begin with, or the dog) and Stripey cat is very restless - not just because she's been on house arrest since Monday. There are clearly still things happening outside.

I thought this might be of interest (and might go some way to explaining why our local public bonfire didn't have the loud music): Could this be the last Bonfire Night for noisy fireworks? - BBC News
