Really not great behaviour, wheres the harm in just giving you a quick heads up. 2 minutes out of their life. Jeez I detest people sometimes

If I liked fireworks, which I don't, and someone had offered for me to go to a paid display instead of me having to buy and do them, I would have snapped their hand off. People are weird.
Greying you might be right there. The ones here are very loud bangs. It reminds me of when I lived on the army estate and our house was in hearing distance of the range. My C-PTSD means I have horrible attacks of anxiety and panic at the sound of the guns…and these fireworks sound just like it. And I am partially deaf. I could cry for all the poor animals that are terrified of them.

PIP what a brilliant idea. I'm off to do that now. Thank you.
I've previously written to my MP asking her to support a discussion in the commons when this was up for debate but she wrote back saying she was very busy and the legislation was fine - I wrote back highlighting where it was not and her next comment was involve the police then not me. Idiot woman
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
You can start a petition to force a political debate. You have to get a certain amount of signatures first but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. You start on change.org.
I would sign, we don't really have the issue where I live in NI now, but it was terrible for weeks when I lived in big city in England.
It looks like it's been tried a few times, but not for a few years:
https://www.change.org/search?q=fireworks+
Mortgage start date Nov 2014 - £90,545 over 25 years
Re-mortgage Oct 2017 - 78,295 over 23 years
Re-mortgage Jan 2020 - 55,000 over 26 years @ 1.94%
Current Mortgage Outstanding Middle December 2020 - £47893.35 - a reduction of £42,652 in just over 6 years!3 -
Great idea, have just done this now!
