Happy birthday week watty.  If your painter hasn't finished yet definitely wait till she is, as she may have a plan for sorting it.  Sounds like its been a lovely week  :)

Glad you had a lovely birthday and that things not going to plan turned out to be for the best.

I sympathise on the chaos of having workmen in. It will be worth it when it's done. As you say touching up a few bits is easier than having to do the lot.

That or she can't see she has missed bits so definitely, as LaPlan suggests,  ask her if she plans to touch in the imperfect bits. If she has not noticed, she needs the feedback.

I empathise with having more than one bit on the go. The chap at DS's house had to leave the self-levelling compound on the kitchen floor to dry and I feel vindicated because I suggested another job he could have been getting on with, but was not asked as DH was concerned about cost. Now that job is on the never-ending list...

    Huge congratulations on the accreditation.

Great news that MH is doing better - even if he is critiquing your technique!!

Hopefully once the work is done you will feel better. Change can be difficult. I also find extra bodies in the house difficult. I don't know if you are the same. I imagine it will be a relief when you get the house back to yourself and vNM
