Oh that’s what that post was … 🤔 I did wonder as it was a ‘name’ I’ve never encountered on Watty’s thread before …

You're not a bad patient, if something's not adding to your life then sack it off. Inappropriate practice ain't the boss of you, and just cos you're asking for help, doesn't mean you're helpless. Maybe ask successful self-made businesswoman Watty to do the researching and charting mental health options, then vulnerable feeling Watty can join in when she feels like it. Make sure having a nice time and enjoying nice things Watty gets a major say too!

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!8 -
Private counselling session yesterday. Am going to stick with her as I like her and I think it will help. More unravelling of the past and I can start to see some connections.
The mental health assessment I did on the phone just have Christmas have now sent a letter to GP saying severe PTSD and recommending onward action so I am going to suggest at my next telephone call with the mental health practitioner that an AI app is not really going to cut it and that I have now read the NICE guidelines and understand I can be referred for 12 sessions of EMDR so we will need to look at that.
My experience with my GP surgery is that they do not read letters so I will just push that forwards and see where that goes.
Note that capable Watty stepped in there (thank you Pip) and did the research and Daisy had mentioned EMDR being helpful before and I had read up on it then.
