Great day out I love cats of all shapes and sizes so would also have been my perfect day out. Watty dogs antics do make me laugh but also cross that such a young dog has such issues. He is lucky to have you and be able to live life as best he can.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Glad you all like the lion picture. Was a splendid afternoon.
Today has been, well a day! If it could go wrong it did is how it felt so I'm going to focus on the positive. Planning consultant thinks he has an architect for the job. I've agreed rates and now we need to sort a site visit.
WattyDog went for his second walk since problems. I think it was too far. He was very tired and slow on the return, bless him, but once home wondered if we could play ball
As for "The Board" well the meeting has been rescheduled so I don't get to use the rather wonderful phrase, and, they have sent me a paid for piece of work so I'm trying to think well of it as I can send the money straight to ISA
Finally had a very odd email re business website so sent it on to web designer and asked his opinion. He is such a nice chap, I explained it was probably ok but I'm nervous because of PPH. He investigated and came back and asked why hosting the website account was in PPH name and I explained I could not change it no matter how hard I try - so - just move it he said! I'll help he said! So a problem and a solution.
See I can focus on the positives and not the exhausting pile of problems that came up today.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!10 -
I’m soooo very glad that web designer is going to help you move your site. That’s been needing doing for a while and is another tendril of PPH chopped off! 😉
Sounds a bit like my mad, crazy day where the best thing that happened for me, was that a fire door got bust off its lock, when a huge piece of metal profile slipped into it and nobody, was actually, in the way of it when it happened ….! 😳

And maybe 2026 could be the year where you don't mention PPH on every page of your diary. You have come so far but go further. Love to Wattydog xxxx5

Hear hear....I am going to take this tip to my diary too for my own pph that I keep mentioning 🫣🤭.Paspatur said:And maybe 2026 could be the year where you don't mention PPH on every page of your diary. You have come so far but go further. Love to Wattydog xxxxEmergency Fund- £717.775 -
Exorcising PPH probably does need him mentioning on here at least sometimes. You'll naturally find ig happening less and less. Love Humdinger xx8

What @Humdinger1 says... it may be he has to be mentioned to draw a line through each trace that remains. However, @Watty1, for all that you've had a rubbishy day, I really feel you've not only found the positives, but made them happen.
I hope you have a restful night and a better day tomorrow.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

FWIW, I’m still mentioning my PPH to myself or Mr KK periodically, 20+ years after running away from him. I think it relates to still quietly processing what he did, why he did it, why I allowed it to happen, how I would react differently now, if there are warning signs of of similar behaviour from people around me now that act as echoes, etc etc. It’s a process like going down through the layers of an onion. The bits get smaller as you go in, but I’m not sure they ever completely leave you. Also fwiw though, at this distance, even with whatever physical and emotional damage I sustained from it, I wouldn’t chose to change any of it, as otherwise what’s happened to me since wouldn’t have happened (including meeting Mr KK) and I’m content and happy with my life now 😊
I hope you have a better day today. Sending hugs x
