If by any chance a lottery win comes my way, you dear GP have the job as the interior designer. I had not considered this option. You are employedGreying_Pilgrim said:greenbee - Watty would do one thing, and one thing only with a ballroom...... make it into an all-weather exercise/dressage ring 🤭👍

Changing the subject from moving to dream house in Wales
I should be in London now, at an event. I opted not to go, being away from home at this time causes me stress and that leads to panic attacks, mild but nevertheless panic. I decided that was not good for my brain, especially given we are in Fireworks Week.
I decided I needed help with my mental health as I have also stopped riding Most Handsome as that too was making me anxious. Even Charming Cob worried me in an open field the other day so I took a much shorter route and that, logically is unfounded as he is such a sensible solid chap. I have been thinking about counselling but I also contacted a confidence coach for horse riding and explained my problem. She came out yesterday and we did a session with Most Handsome who was foot perfect. It really helped. I feel optimistic. This morning I took Charming Cob out and if I had had time I would have taken Most Handsome out too but the day ran away with me and now it is dark.
After chatting it over with her and VNM I have decided just to focus on one thing. And that one thing is getting myself back to confidence in the saddle. Then as that one thing improves I can work on the anxiety when I am out for more than a couple of hours and maybe get some help with that to.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Getting confidence back in the saddle will be so worth it for your mental health I think. MH seems like he can be a handful but CC, as you say, is so solid. Many years ago I used to horse share. Horsey was a mere 18hh; a Cleveland Bay x Irish Draught. A gentle giant who helped me so much when work was stressing me. Hacking out 3 times a week was a real stress buster so I can really see how enjoying being back in the saddle will help you - plus you've said the same many times. With you all the way Watty1.4

That sounds like the best of targets, Watty. Enjoy being with your horses.

Mmm, lovely @Watty1. Totally makes sense. If you could see yourself as we do, you'd be blinded by the light. Love Humdinger xx5

@Humdinger1 that was very moving, thank you. And thank you @Cherryfudge, @Brewerspride and @daisy_1571
It felt better yesterday evening not having pushed myself to go to London, attend event and travel home late (which most likely would have ended up with me stuffing sugar filled snacks on the train), The two week experiment of no sugar and no alcohol has really helped mood and focus I have not really managed all her lifestyle suggestions but I think all that was just too much, however I've added the vitamin C to the iron supplement at her suggestion and my sense is so far it is helping. Will keep with it for a while longer, I check in with her on Monday for the last session. Working on questions for that session.
Roofer for VNM's mums house has had to push start date back another week but its only 7 days so can live with that. Plans for this weekend, ride both days as coaching says I now must just keep going to maintain progress achieved, write a presentation needed for Tuesday, sort diary, do a little work in office and I'd like to weed one border. Garden bin actually full as VNM managed to stuff the rest of the cut hedging in there. WattyDog also needs a groom, did his hind legs last weekend, need to do shoulders and front this weekend (since his slipped disc he is a dog of halves
