@Watty1 I'm doubtless showing profound ignorance here, but does anyone make side-saddles to measure? Love Humdinger xx3

I was thinking about your this morning @Watty1 as the scent of my neighbour's laundry detergent/fabric conditioner wafted across from their washing line, obliterating the scent of the roses that they have planted along the boundary... I almost prefer the smell of drains 🤣

The thing is to find that out, I had to use google and I've just messaged a woman who has a saddle that is Victorian (been restored) and just might work. Now, if I buy one like that I can always resell it - so - I've messaged her honestly as she is a well know side saddle trainer as well.
If it is meant to work out, it will. I'd never have messaged her without you all, but, look what has happened with the garden. Somehow I feel the universe is looking out for me. We will see what happensMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

For some reason I burst out laughing when I read this (sorry, I'm sure it is an awful smell, shall we send rain?)

I don't know how much they used Watty, but as far as I can tell, plenty of people use far too much highly scented detergent. The CS towels I bought for Stinky have all been washed at least twice, and still smell of detergent despite his attempts to make them smell of dog.4

ugh, hate these washing powders and conditioners that promise clothes smelling of their perfume for days. Yuck yuck yuck. We don't even use any conditioner any more, too smelly.
Have you seen these new adverts for deodorant for all over? Omg I hate them! Marketing people have finally found something else to suggest everyone needs. Between trying to worry you the your house smells so use this plugin that will actually make it stink but we'll get money for to making folk suddenly worry they haven't been spraying chemicals all over their nether regions! Jeezo, sometimes I wonder what world we live in !
I'm happy in my rather more natural world where its only on the odd occasion i'll put a bit body spray on but otherwise I think my house, clothes and us all smell just fine (I hope 😆)22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. I use unscented detergent and bung a bit of lavender oil in the vinegar in the rinse aid. Mostly to deter moths.
And I really don't understand strongly scented detergent if you wear expensive perfume, as all anyone can smell is the detergent! When I stay with friends on US work trips it can take weeks to get the smell out of my clothes.4 -

They do, and for the price of a small used car.
Saddle fitting is such a worry, Watty.
Did your chap say "when we move"?
Are there plans?

There is a lot to do before we can move and a very slight potential plan that means I might be able to get a property on the field here I still have to investigate (retirement goal - it would give me the money for an immediate retirement). There are some lovely places out there and @daisy_1571 has sent me two properties I would move to in a heartbeat.

I think it was @Cherryfudge thread that made me investigate railcards and my 3 year railcard has arrived. My business paid for it as I do use the train for work sometimes. I worked out it would have paid for itself if I had had it in January and, it comes out of pre-tax income as the business bought it.
Win win I think.
