I’m with Wattydog on the pigeon situation.4

DH - the kindest of men- threatened to get a shotgun to deal with the pigeons. When I pointed out that there was a danger of a person being shot or fatally wounded, he replied 'Well, that would be the pigeons' fault'. I promise you, not his style at all but there is something about pigeons that plainly drives reasonable people into a frenzy. Love Humdinger xx5

Pigeons are flying rats. Watty dog is quite right to disapprove of them. My cats do too, and are most annoyed that they can’t catch them. Particularly when the pigeons sit on the roof.6

daisy_1571 said:sounds like a perfect job opportunity for so many people who struggle to find work to fit in with school hours - start at your local primary school gates and see who wattydog sniffs out for you ? Or the next primary school over if you don't want someone who lives too close. (Always remembering to check addresses in case new employee lives too close to any one from past life)

yes a well titled thread / let’s hope my title holds such power
my mum feeds the wood pigeons in her garden !DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

You have all made me laugh so much on the pigeons. WattyDog feels vindicated in his dislike of same now.
I sometimes actually call him that when chatting to him
Thoroughly enjoyed todays course session but forgot to record it correctly. Am hoping my PA can rescue me on this. if not will have to simply record it straight but it was such a good session with some really great questions I'm hoping she can sort. If not I will have to think of a plan B!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
