thank you all for the cheerleading. I appreciate it (and @daisy_1571 I printed out both my post and yours and stuck in the journal I try to keep regularly as I found that writing a list of things i had done well really helped my mental health).
Exhausted this morning after yesterday.ย Was up at 5.00 am to work then at around 10.00 am took Charming Cob out for a wander round the village then back for lunch and planned a quick shower before trip to London but the farrier rang - he was at my back gate. I had completely forgotten he was coming!ย Luckily we had removed a lot of cash from the VNM's mothers house and left it for speed in my filing cabinet so I borrowed from that stash to pay the farrier and left an IOU in her envelopeย (Like many elderly ladies she had a lot of cash just sitting in a drawer).
The good news from the farrier was that FellPony's feed at the best they have ever been so messaged the person who has him on loan to give her the good news.ย ย And inspired I will replace the homeopathic remedy I have been using as I think it is probably a combination of the remedy and the topical application of "products".
Then back in for the fastest shower and "look professional" whizz ever for trip to London.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

I just made the train (a later one than I wanted to catch) and got a black cab from the station to the venue for a professional event I was going to.ย ย The black cab was a great way of celebrating how far I have come - now - that might sound odd but I stopped using black cabs when I was striving to pay off the mortgages for the ex. I started to walk everywhere in London when I had the time and I absolutely love doing that (I do use the tube but I came to love the walking).ย ย I knew the walk would take 35 to 40 mins and a quick chat with the taxi driver confirmed he could do it in a fraction of that so I enjoyed the taxi.ย ย i left late and got a taxi back to the station too.ย ย Yes that was ยฃ25 spent but I didn't feel guilty that i had spent it, instead I celebrated that my hard work meant I could afford to do that. I didn't feel guilty that I was not saving the ยฃ25 and transferring it to the savings, instead I congratulated myself on having the good sense to arrive at the venue unflustered (and the driver knew exactly what door to drop me by) and to relax and enjoy the trip back to the station.
The event was fabulous, two very inspiring speakers and I caught up with some people I have not seen in years and generally felt inspired about my working life again.ย Home in time to give the horses their late night hay, feed WattyDog and feral cat and fall into bed around 11.30 tired but happy.ย ย
This morning I realise I could have had all this years ago but the life was sucked out of me.ย ย Instead I took my breakfast coffee smoothie outside and watched WattyDog telling his big red ball off and enjoyed the Autumn sun. Hard to do with WattyDog growling and barking very loudly at the ball but the intention was thereMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Wonderful!ย ย Amazing what a difference reframing a thought can do - situation: late for intended start time. Solution: taxi.ย Think about it in terms of annoyance, waste of money, all the things that money could do, dwell on it, spoilt day,ย downward spiral.ย Or the very positively positives that are absolutely correct,ย result lovely day and positive spiral.ย
I'm so glad you are in the place in life and frame of mind and financial situation to allow the scenario to unfold the way it did.ย SUCHย a difference in your life nowย ย ๐งกย no need to reschedule horse man causing more disruption, money to hand to pay, you feel fluid enough to go with unexpected thing especially on such a busy day rather than it completely throw you, all signs of a much more balanced life.
Gosh I don't think you need any more cheer leading at all !! You got this girl!ย As only people very much younger and more American than me could possibly hope get away with saying ๐ ๐คฃ ๐ย
