2024 - No Craft Spending - I WILL bust my stash and make pretty things!!!!!

Its taken ages to get going this year. A holiday in January delayed the start and then the sudden death of my sister. So today I took a day for myself and decided to have a go at this painting. I have had the idea and stuff to make it for ages. A bit of masking tape, a youtube tutorial for painting a field of sunflowers, a lot of patience and many hours later this is the result. I have never painted a picture with acrylics on canvas before. Very pleased for a first try. 😊

I’ve just been puttering away with various crafts but did manage to finish some bunny wreaths yesterday.  Might add some more bits to some with ‘empty’ ears……….

I have got off to a slow start this year. Nothing exciting. I have made a laundry bag, a shopping type bag for any active WIP I am working on. The patchwork squares for this I must have made 30 plus years ago !  I have made some magnetic book marks, birthday cards, a valentines card and a few Xmas cards. In all I am counting these as 3 makes.
