Day 2 of CB-ing. (Soz for being O/T).  Northallerton seems to be taking off thanks to the organiser being media savvy I suspect. Picked up a Crew white shirt with ickle blue flowers embroidered on for £3 and a pair of Boots sunnies for £2.

From the Oxfam online sale, 60% off, a 24 carat gold plated British Columbia flag and maple leaf design vintage brooch, 6.39. Bought it for my cousin in Vancouver. Found a customisable small jewellery box in her favourite colour on eBay, so as soon as the brooch arrives from Chester, it will get sent to Canada.

Risked another trip to the Otley 99p St Gemma's shop earlier this week on the hottest day of the year so far here!!!  Why???  Sadly the pushy, shovey, grabby, snatchy brigade were in and most of the nice things were swiftly hoovered up, (for Vinted), as soon as the delivery van arrived.  Also the staff kept announcing about a bag snatch at the week end and to be careful.  What times we live in!  Altogether not a nice experience, tho I did manage to get a pair of electric blue Lucia ankle grazer trousers discarded by a grabber and dumped in the home furnishings section.. 99p natch!  Also, the Cancer Research shop seems to be selling off its stock, everything £2 and I found a nice Autograph pure silk top in a coffee/minky colour.

The possibility of being mugged in a charity shop horrifies me. Glad that I do my chazza shopping online now.

One lead crystal rose bowl / bonbonniere and a LSA hand made square vase later and they’re looking much classier! 

Love this idea and will plagiarize it shamelessly but what is a LSA?

I'm not sure it's actually classed as mugging if a bag is left unattended while browsing or trying-on and goes missing. Mugging usually implies some violence or physical contact.
