Thanks all
He's definitely on the mend but still needing a lot of help so I'm glad I'm off on annual leave next week so I can keep an eye on him a bit longer. He's got an appointment with the specialist nurse on Monday as well which is good.
Popped out to the shop earlier and spent £5.84 on bread, butter and diluting juice. Not a shop I usually frequent as it's a tiny expensive corner shop but didn't want to leave OH for too long. I've also spent £189.95 on a dehumidifier which is something I've been meaning to buy for ages, money came from the home fund.

Pleased your OH is on the mend. Hopefully he will improve even more during your leave - and also hope you get to relax a little. Worrying about those we love is unavoidable but can be very draining.

Thanks Boodedoo
Unfortunately he was re-admitted to hospital early Saturday morning as he had gotten worse again but will hopefully be discharged today or tomorrow. Very glad that I'm off on annual leave this week as it means I can just focus on OH.
Have cancelled our planned trip to Edinburgh for OH's birthday and will reschedule once he's feeling better.
Money wise - quite a lot being spent on coffees/food at the hospital but at least it is free parkingHave managed to do a few PA surveys so waiting for the money to become available to cash out and then will add to the emergency fund. LISA app says £280 to pay over 7 weeks to maximise the bonus for this financial year. Weekly £25 plus usual £100 on payday equals £275 so I'll add an extra £5 to make the £280

Oh dear, really sorry to hear that, fingers crossed he gets home soon.
You must be relieved that you have the emergency fund in place to help you through the extra expenditure for the hospital visiting etc. Its what its thee for and it can be re-stocked when things settle with his health. Its one less thing to worry about - which is a step in the right direction :-)
take care of yourself too1
