Hi debtfreewannabe321, thanks for popping by.  A LISA is a lifetime ISA and can be used towards either buying a first house or retirement.

Double shift yesterday so was a NSD

I worked from home this morning and then took the afternoon off which was nice.  Went for a long and rather cold walk along the beach and also went to the supermarket - £50.29 spent.  That should do us until next Friday apart from fruit and bread since OH seems to get through loads of both.

Weekend off so plan for tomorrow is to go to the gym and then to Bee&Mmms afterwards to look for a new shower caddy and bath mat.  Other than that, just do some general tidying up in the house and spend some quality time with OH.

Did an hour at the gym yesterday and then spent £37.08 in Bee&Mmms - £26 on home stuff (shower caddy, shower curtain, bath mat and oven gloves), £10.18 stocking up on cleaning supplies and 90p on reduced bakery items which have gone in the freezer.

Today will either be gym or walk depending on how cold it is outside and I'm going to pop to B00ts to buy hair dye as I couldn't find my usual yesterday and it really needs done.  I'm also debating buying some wireless ear buds for the gym as it was a pain yesterday with the wired ones, they kept getting in the way.  I've got a £25 @mazon voucher from Christmas so will have a look on there.

£1.82 added to the emergency fund from cashback

Went to the gym as it was snowing.  Been snowing on and off all day, lovely to look out at but not looking forward to driving to work tomorrow.

Spends for today were £19.51 - £14 on hair dye (2 for £14 instead of £9 for 1), £5 on a small frying pan and 51p on some tortilla chips (made nachos for lunch to use up some salsa).

    Hello from another Scot!

I love your diary already and I'm here to cheer you on.

I've also got my big LISA goals over the next 9ish years/ I did have a chunk in there but I took it out to pay off some debt that got run up in my name.

I probably won't be able to add it it till October but still I've got good goals to add to it until I am 50 then that's my OAP fund.

Hi Dolly Rocker, thanks for stopping by.  Good luck with your LISA goals

An unexpected NSD today as was supposed to be meeting some friends for food after work but due to the weather, we decided to postpone.  There's been snow showers here all day so driving to and from work was a bit stressful.  I suspect tomorrow will be worse as it will all freeze overnight.

Had egg and hm chips for tea instead which was yummy, so quick to make and even better, no supermarket trip spending money which is what I would usually do if plans changed.

£1.50 survey completed on PA, seems very slow at the moment.
