Yeah, I got my today using quickpay. The assistant was trying to put it in a bag for me, just as he was passing it to me, an assistant came over and said thats a mis-price, I'll need to check with the manager. as i had paid with quickpay they had to give me it :j . She did tell him though not to give out anymore!0

Picked mine up at 9.00 this morning - figured they wouldn't have corrected
it if I got there early. Got it for £7.99 using quick pay and was handed it with a smile!0 -

Picked mine up in Warrington today. The woman at the collections counter checked it against the receipt, checked it again against the receipt, checked the catalogue numbers, looked me up and down, examined the packaging, checked the number against the receipt again and finally stamped the receipt and handed it over.
I felt like a bank robber, but finally scuttled out with it tucked under my arm.0 -
yep picked mine up today from Bracknell, paid via quickpay - no problem. Kept checking all the local stores (10 mile radius) yesterday but nothing available until 1 came up at about 6pm last night (previously reserved!), so reserved and collected today.0

The answer was simple, I booked 2 to collect at PC World
From the Price Match page of PC World website:
"If you find a lower price for the same product and offer, we'll reduce our price by 110% of the difference – even up to 7 days after purchase.
This applies to prices offered by retailers within 30 miles of your local PC World store and the UK websites* listed below. The competitor must have the item in stock and website* prices must include delivery. Single unit purchases only.
To take advantage of our price promise, please telephone our sales team on 0844 561 0000 clearly stating the following details:
1. Your name and delivery postcode
2. The product, price and our product code you are interested in purchasing
3. The name of the Internet site or store offering a better price
Once the price is verified we can process your order immediately over the telephone.
* Websites: Amazon.co.uk, Argos, Asda, B&Q, Comet, Dabs, Dell, Evesham Technology, Game, Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Jessops, John Lewis, Maplin, Misco, Play, Staples, Tesco, Toys r Us, Virgin, Woolworths"
That means Argos price less 10%. Before I went I phoned PC World customer service and told them that both my children had ordered something to collect in store but now I have found it is cheaper at Argos. I was told that when I collected they would charge me 10% less than Argos.
After PC World checked the Argos website they honoured the deal with the minimum of tears.
Do not forget PC World. I know they get slagged off but when other shops make a mistake on prices PC world has to supply at 10% less!!0 -
We went to PC World today and noticed they had one on display, as they do price promise with also 10% off, we told them what Argos was selling them at, and as the manager was so busy and the only one was the display, which had no box (which you throw away anyway), he sold it too us for £2!!!!!
What a bargain!!!!!! Kids are having great fun with it!!!2008 - Won Thomas Land Family Ticket £70, Hollyoaks Charity Match Tickets £100 -
Excellent post, Thanks, reserved mine last night @ Cirencester, called in paid by credit card at Quickpay (£7.99) & collected from counter (Woo Hoo!)
