maryb said:I treated myself to a pair of M&S Heatgen tights yesterday. Cosy! How many coupons for that ?- they aren't the ordinary tights that we get a special allowance for but on the other hand they are probably no or not much more heavy on materials than a pair of ordinary opaque tights
Hi everyone and thank you for your good wishes. I'm too exhausted to post much, but I am lurking. @Laura_Elsewhere may I put you on Village Hall duty for the foreseeable? Many thanks.

*Waves* Hi @PipneyJane, nice to see you! I thought you were supposed to be taking it easy, but it's hard to make some people sit still. Have a cup of tea while you're here, and there's some cake in the tin, so you can lurk in comfort. I'm sure @Laura_Elsewhere will keep us in order, and the rest of us will try to make ourselves useful too.

Yay! So I still have my 66 coupons. These are so cosy they would be worth spending actual coupons on but the 6 'vultures' are very welcomeIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!11

Now I know you're not a flighty lady, but that's nothing to crow over, so don't go raven about it. (I'll get my coat).

Well, apart from That Ruddy Dog!
I have a new Oxo tin, and I hope this time he won't be able to get the lid off. I don't know how he does it...
I plan to bake tomorrow (saving the rations for it!) so I hope the tin will be filled up for anyone popping in over the weekend as it gets colder...!2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:

Fabulous socks @Laura_Elsewhere!
First up, whilst I sort out my stashes, is a pile of mending.
I need to slap a few more patches onto the OH work trousers.
I need to mend the elastic on my pyjama bottoms; (I made these from a very old cotton sheet so I'm very fond of them)
I need to unravel an old shop bought jumper to recover the wool - though this is proving tricky - so I may see if I can make gloves from it w/o unravelling
Then
I need to finish the 2023 christmas knitted blanket! (not reverse counting coupons for this as all the squares were completed before year end - just need sewing together).
Thoughts so far on what to make:
I would like to sew a new dressing gown
I would like to knit either a brioche stitch jumper or make a moss stitch short jacket from stash (haven't decided which)
I would like to knit a stranded colourwork jumper from stash
That's it so far.

Hi everyone, 2 weeks in and feeling good about keeping my 66 coupons.I finished a knitted tank top last week for my OH but it didn’t fit him 😂 However it fits be beautifully! Therefore do I reverse coupon it for me as it was a project I’d stashed away ages ago with wool out of my stash?I would like to see how many garments I can do for my coupons in a year but this was started beforehand?#17 1p Challenge £125.65/671
Fashion on the Ration Challenge 53/66 coupons12 -
@Teadrinker_4 yes I would add the coupons, as it is about using your stash. A WIP is not useable a finished item is.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases
