I haven't been on here in such a long time. Unfortunately life hasn't been kind to me this year regarding money matters and I'm struggling to keep bills etc down.
As it's the 1st of the month I'm hoping between now and Christms I can change a few things, try and find ways of keeping bills down and plan ahead.
In some ways I'm grateful that my debt hasn't risen, however it hasn't fallen much either. I have paid off one credit card which I'm absolutley chuffed about, and I'm now down to 1 other credit card and a credit union loan.
The credit Union Loan I'm not too worried about, That will be paid out by next July hopefully.
Right now, my focus from now until Christmas will be the 2nd credit card. If I can get it to £1,500 by the end of the year, It will give me a good chance of clearing it by next year and I'll be eventually debt free. It will also mean that come the new year, I can start putting more money into savings along with paying the debt and it will hopefully even out.
So as of now, my total stands at.....#6 - £1050 / £3,500Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%1 -

Hi, All of my debt was on zero interest until October so I've been patiently waiting for my regular saver to mature and have used it to clear £3k off. Considering trying a 0% balance transfer for the remainder.1

Not as much as I’d have hoped to clear but had a hefty garage bill in July, which did affect the amount I could repay.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
