Hi, would love to join.Pop me down for £25,000, 1 step £250.
I’m changing jobs at some point this year, just some legal bits to get sorted so it’ll be a slow start with my steps for a couple of months but they’ll pick up.Minimum payments cover £237.83, that’s a really good way of looking at it - thank you.GemJanuary 2025 - Debt £20,0061 -
Woah!! Well done! That's great progress. You should be well clear of this before Xmas 2024 if you keep going at this rate!Aso said:Cleared another 11 steps with my dd, So currently cleared 12 steps 😊
Trying to plan what I can do to get some extra steps in:
* I will be returning a couple items to the shops tomorrow which will go straight back to cc which should be a couple of steps. (The very last of the spending on the credit card was on the boxing day sales, still waiting on things to arrive so I am sure there will be more returns to come)
* I have agreed to an extra shift at work next week which will be between 1-2 steps (won't get the extra payment until end of feb but at least I know I am taking action now. And I should get paid this month for an extra couple shifts I managed to get last month)
*I have listed some kids clothes on V.. not for much but will maybe help towards a step.

Thanks 😊 Here is hoping I can keep the momentum up. However it will get tougher as I will be down £300 a month from this month (was recieving a benefit that it turns when submitting actual income that we just earn slightly too much to receive). I will also have to pay all the money back from the benefits which obviously is already spent 🙈. I am unsure of how much this will actually be so concentrating on trying to clear the cc as quickly as I can for now.CMD79 said:

On a positive note I have sold a few items today and got one item returned to the shop.1 -

Hi, I'd love to join this. Could you put me down for £16,000 so that's £160 per step. I'm doing this to reduce debt, but to also cover some large payments this year, to avoid it becoming debt

After taking account my standard payments, it means I'll have to find/earn/save an additional £430 per month, so I'll also get back to the "Make £10 a day challenge" to help me along the way.Make £10 a day 2024

Just sent my very first overpayment to my DMP.Just did one step as overpayment. It’s a reward based token to myself - so I feel like the budgeting is working/worthwhile. Also tentative as I want to make sure I can afford to do up to 11 steps this month- aware of the lack of emergency funds atm. The overpayment pot I have left so it’s still has 205 in which could still be there towards the end of the month and then I’d of done 12 steps this month with that added. 🤞🏼 aiming high!Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 208/550
