    I also took some time to decompress, and slowly formed a new routine. There is no rush, so it can slowly evolve with you

    I was supposed to leave on Friday too, it ended up being 9pm on Monday but it felt good to close my laptop on an empty inbox. I had the best night’s sleep! Then went to the dentist.

    I’ve been letting routine stuff slide for weeks, today I got the fridge back on track. One of my team retired on Friday and is going on holiday straight away but I’d like to decompress first.

    I think I will book a holiday to go on within about 2 weeks of stopping work.

    Too late, I’ve sold up and moved because of the legion of fans that kept banging on my door
