@Liverpool_Anne we have made conscious decisions to plant winter flowering plants too for the bees that brave the warmer winter days (and to
combat the dark days). The red-purple hellebores are looking gloriously gothic at the moment. The garden does have old friends through it, our ancient and very large fuschia often flowers into December and was gifted a much smaller plant. I show my love for my friends by decluttering violet plants to them regularly. They were decluttered to us in a similar way by one of my
mum’s ‘little old ladies’. The rhubarb is as old as me as it was a gift to my mum from one of my dad’s friends when my imminent arrival became obvious! Mum was also given a bouquet beetroot at the same time!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

I can’t remember what number I’m up to decluttering…The quickest way to do it (as usually there are so many comments in the thread it is hard to find!), is to click on "My Profile" on the top right of the page if on a laptop, then you should be able to click on "comments" on the top right hand side. This shows all the threads you've commented on in reverse order, so you can see the most recent ones first.I keep my signature up to date each time to keep track and usually also note it down as a digital note as well so I don't have to look back.2025 decluttering: 3,452🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

OOO Mrs SD what lovely looking bread and cakes. I could easily be a declutterer. I would do it for free, I enjoy making places into a comfy space. Like having a dolls house on a large scale. Have a lovely day today. Cold but hopefully dry on the bike.
floriana,I had violets at my last house. Beautiful little thugs. People who didn't know were horrified when I used to weed them out. I can't wait to get in the garden and have a clear up. I am waiting until after this cold snap is over and then a bit longer to give the wee beasties a bit of shelter. I want to make a new bit of garden this year and am a little bit of a loss of where to start or even what I want the end product to be.
My post office take bags of coppers. With it being a small branch they have to pay for small numbers of bags of coins they order so it helps them. I was only thinking last night I will continue to save coppers and 5p's for our Grandson when he goes on holiday. Mil used to do that for DD2, ice cream money.Trouble is cash is a bit of a rarity these days. I think Covid finished it off, Certainly where I used to work it was very unusual if someone had cash after lockdown.
I was up at 8am had breakfast and fell asleep again. I didn't feel right yesterday, with a chesty cough. Feel a bit better now so I am about to change our bed then swear at the sewing machine and curtain for a few hours. I have decided that when this curtain is made I will make a big effort to use my fabric stash. First off a patchwork throw for DD1.
TC77, good call with sticking to what you know with the oven, It sounds like washing machines, so many programmes and you only ever use 2 of them.

@vulpix yes lots of people are horrified by the violet weeding! Little do
they realise when I gift them
on mwahahahaha 😉 The grape hyacinths/muscari also grow far too luxuriously….Yesterday was a quick tidy, pot up and catch up especially as the sycamores in the nearby school field have been sending their helicopters far and wide and I’m not letting them turn the garden into a wood! Apart from that the beasties get to keep their homes and shelter until spring has properly sprung.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

I have tentatively come out of the TLC carriage, and from reading other's make up decluttering decided it was time to have a stab at that.
So I have cleared out a dozen cleansers, eye make up, half used moisturisers and the like. I have also chucked the utterly battered make up and repurposed a bag which can now hold everything after my purge. And it fits in the drawer rather than on top, so looks neater as well.20 -

no snow here in North Devon, its actually pleasantly mold in the direct sun! 2 loads of washing dried overnight/first thing, and another one on the line now. I don't miss that rain!
Thinking of over-decluttering, and parting with Justins, has anyone tried putting aside a small amount of money per disposed item, like 10-50p? It could go in a jar so that if there was anything you threw that you needed you can easily replace? My fear is always throwing something I then needed.
+10 various unused hairclips and stretched out hair bobbles from the jar
I just found a box with 5 x litre bottles of Woollite in. I have had it for at least 16 years and not once used any. What do you think I've done with it?!20 -
Mmmm. I have added 8 kgs from the utility cupboard, outside the utility cupboard and the remainder of a box of cr$p, taking me to 67 kg / 2024kg. I have just calculated where I should be though and am actually 10kgs behind schedule now. Those 5 bottles of Woollite would give me an easy 5kg.... Need....more....willpower.....
