That was a wonderful virtual trip. Can't wait for the Orient Express as I have plenty of clothes that will perfect for it.
Some more decluttering done just bits and pieces, I'm trying to as I see it sort it as well as getting into an hour or two of bigger things.
I'm also making sure that I'm using up the ton of facemasks I have by getting back to having a pamper evening with facemask, long relaxing bath with nice bubbles/bath bombs/salts. I realised how much I have missed having these in the past.“HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. DO YOU KNOW, THAT IN A UNIVERSE SO FULL OF WONDERS, THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INVENT BOREDOM. 142)-154) items x13 dropped off at the CS this morning. Combination of clothes, bits from the house like decorative bottles no longer wanted. Tbh I’m very surprised the cats did not make an executive decision to break them!
155) big bag of soft plastics dropped off at supermarket collection point
Hoping to drop more items off at Dunelm tomorrow as we have a big community collection point and can also drop unwanted crafts off aswellDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Forgot to say. 2 tins of paint completely used up. A little more room in the cupboard.Daisy , thank you. My brother would never agree to it , even a joint one. I don’t want the fight. He wants to be in control but also do nothing. He wouldn’t even communicate with me when Mum was in hospital.I have thought it would be sensible for home visits. If you can get your eyes tested at home I would expect it would be feasible to sign a form. Take note Halifax! No immediate rush. Once the house is on the market I can help her with paperwork.I am sorry for my earlier hysteria folks. I think one of those bubble baths might be on the cards after Gardeners World.Vx:16

I went back to SA last night to lock up and dealt with donations while there.
This morning I packed my shopping trolley for Mr F to take to the charity shop.
I popped to SA for table top sale posters - happening next week - comes around quickly.
I got my overlocker out to alter a tee shirt for a friend - it wasn't stitching properly. So I did it on my sewing machine which didn't like the fabric. Got it done and took it round to her.
When I came home - I noticed insulation material by the side gate - somehow a bird has gained access to my loft! I can't believe it - I have had nothing but trouble with my loft/roof the last couple of years - first squirrels - new fascia then rats, followed by missing ridge tiles which I had replaced. A Seagull was sitting on the roof looking at me - looks like it is trying to build a nest in my new guttering!
A friend is coming to have a look at what is going on.
Mr F went out distributing the table top posters this afternoon - he came back wearing his hat - back to front - said he took it off in the public toilets. It is not one of the caps that youngsters wear - back to front! It is a trilby.

@Floss love the colour and remember you posting fab photos with wonderful vibrant and sunshine colours.
Love the tulips Mrs SD.
delcuttered too much ice cream so no progress getting into clothes but did take huge curtains to CS (tempted to count the linings too but will settle for 2), then while watching tv sorted some folders, have 4 folders/bankers boxes and some plastic wallets for the bank of things, and a plastic document holder for bin, and 7 lots of paper decluttered, 2 new candles in CS bag and a suger bowl vintage cover thing - so 17 total 720
Alot more to get to my 100 this weekend but some progress.
I am trusting at some point I will notice the difference!15 -
Catching up on reading posts but not much decluttering done. Mrs SD - DD and I are considering Helsinki this year. I viewed house but it was more than I want to pay and probably under offer anyway. Tried to book another one but they couldn't do it until next Friday as they had no staff. Unfortunately this is the agent that is selling mine as well! Looked at house with DS2 but think that is under offer too.
567 Updated security on computer - not concerned but fed up with pop up messages telling me to do it. All done - scan showed no problems
568 Decided to leave one of my 'groups' - I can only ever attend the first part of the meeting and I have too many on the go at the moment. It is one I enjoy so hope I can rejoin later.
569 Resent a load of family history stuff as I had done the attachments wrong
570 Car insurance money left my bank account - ouch
571 Started writing up a family history project I have been working on
572 Tidied greenhouse with DGS4 and planted some peppers in bigger pots.
573 Bundle of garden trays etc to bin - not worth recycling
I bought some more holiday clothes, a suitcase for DGS4 and a new laundry basket (old one was cloth and went mouldy - wet towels I guess) - other things will need to leave. DGD4 went through her wardrobe and DS2 has put a bundle of girl's clothes for sale. Four pairs of the 'wrong trousers' I will take into school - two never worn. I'll count these things when they leave.
On tales of unhelpful banks - when late mum was in her 90s I tried to close her Woolwich BS account with £10 in it. They were adamant the only way to do this was to take her to a branch (20 miles away in Norwich) - the cost of parking and fuel far exceeded balance in account. She had a rare combination of names so establishing her ID was simple. Gave up then tried again with the bank that had taken over when she was living near me and I had power of attorney. They said they couldn't find the account even though I gave them all the details. Never got that £10 back and she's been gone 11 years now.
Better do my homework for history group in the morning

Managed a quick tidy up, packaged up 3 boxes and two large bags for the charity (it's DH's job to take them) and 90% of all the Buy Nothing stuff was picked up. So much more space, but I just see excess stuff in every single room I walk into. I had 4 cushions on the bench in the hall which I got so people could use it to put their shoes on. Absolutely no one uses it though, including DH's very elderly father who tries to use the stairs. I don't get it at all, but there was only room for one person to sit on it because all of the cushions anyway. I just took 3 of them away and left one small one to look nice and it's so much better. Hopefully it'll make people use it more. Having a rearrangement of cushions around the house, so not got rid of them all yet - just deciding which ones are best where.Have to give up for today as I am too tired, but there is so much more to go yet!Physical:
