More lovely cat photos, I feel I should give mine more attention, and declutter some of my stress,
Thank you for the compliments on my desk. I am going to put my monitor on it as like to use it as well as laptop but do have glass ink stands so they will be on it.
I can't believe we're not going as fast as last time as we seek to be rattling along at a very fast pace..
Well done to those getting ready for selling /moving, and fingers crossed all goes well.
Forgot 3 crockery and 1 top in cs bag, 2 membership/bank cards cut up,small bits out, 1 item sold and packaged and posted (over last few days.
@weenancyinAmerica I hope you manage to stay cosy indoors with all the weather outside

Hi all, reasonable day
. I managed to book an appointment with the chiropodist, not at my usual treatment centre but close enough to get to
. I took OH to the opticians and I have chosen my frames, OH agreed that my favourite was the best and I have an appointment for Thursday for the eye test. Honestly I am so pleased about this as I know I need a new prescription and after the last time taking so long because all the opticians seemed to only have what I call Joe 90 frames I was dreading the whole thing.
While we were out we did quite a large sm shop, the fridge and freezer stuff has been put away and some of the other stuff is still in bags but will be done tomorrow. I unpacked the edible christmas gifts and the packaging went into the recycling so the kitchen recycling was emptied twice, so much cardboard for a few bits but it did look pretty. The lr recycling was also emptied as OH seems to be cottoning on to actually putting stuff in the bin / recycling thank goodness
and finally 1 LDFPA.
2 loads through the machine today and on the maiden. It was very windy here today but I wasn't convinced it wasn't going to rain while we were out
Was it @Muddy_Walker who recommended Tim Sullivan? Sorry I can't find the post, but thank you. I am on book 2 of the DS Cross books
. Somehow I signed up for the prime 30 day trial so am getting them for free but I will be buying them when I cancel the prime
. A series of books I can recommend is by Estelle Ryan who writes about a character called Genevieve Leonard who is also on the spectrum but works to solve international art crimes. One of the things I like is that the author gives links to various artists and various classical music composers so if you want to find out more you can though it's not necessary to enjoy the books. I got the first in the series, the Gauguin connection as a free book but I now preorder them
there are 14 in the series so far
@Vulpix I love those snow drops, they always look so lovely at this time of the year when very little else is flowering
Right off to bed now, hugs to anybody who would like one, such exciting news of people moving, fingers crossed that all goes well
206 + 207 kitchen recycling emptied
208 lr recycling emptied
209 eye test booked and frames chosen
210 chiropodist appointment booked
211 LDFPA
Take care everyone

DH got back from his driving ‘lesson’ & was as happy as Larry 😅 His 1st time behind the wheel since December 2016 & he didn’t scare the instructor or make him scream 😉 Apparently the instructor was so impressed he didn’t think DH needed any more sessions 😊 However DH has paid for two more 2 hour sessions & will ask for the last one to be in the evening to practice driving in the dark. Whilst he was out I dealt with my mail + wrote up my list of larder contents. Dinner was spaghetti bolognaise (sauce from freezer) Wudupa
208 - 210 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, magazine - recycled
211 Kitchen detritus binned

Good morning. One of those big frogs I tackled a couple of weeks ago is finally sorted- DS1 has his transport to college today!
On Sunday night I went to bite into a creme egg and my front tooth broke off! It's been okay until today and now it aches a bit so I'll be ringing around dentists later. That'll teach me for trying to sneak one while on my diet.
Yesterday we went into town as had a meeting with UC for an ID check. Nipped into town after as DD3 needed socks and a thermal tshirt as they only do PE outside.
Recycling bin has gone out today and the pile I'd been making by the back door from last week has all gone in.
Right better go and make sure some children are getting ready up there as it's very quiet.

I already reached my decluttering target today as DS and I played his new game yesterday evening (birthday gift from his party) and then I went to put it away. Cue a quick rearrangement of cupboard space to get it all in and I took out two boxes of blocks that they don't play with. Had a quick count of them as I had to tip them out to make sure all the pieces were ok to pass on and none were broken. Probably need another sort out of DD's toys downstairs, but may hold off until post her birthday in just over a month.I did try to look at the coat cupboard downstairs, but all the coat sizes are mad and not realistic and DD has double the coats due to stuff left at nursery. She still fits in something labelled 18 months - 2 years despite the fact she is 3 in a few weeks! I know she's short, but she's not that small. Was not successful in culling anything so far.I am also decluttering another work day today... only got 8 days of work left although I don't leave for 3 weeks! Got a list of things to get through still for work, but I did declutter quite a bit of it yesterday. Will be catching up on some tidying today which will probably throw up a bit more decluttering.Digital:

wishus said:That's the problem with our recycling collection. It's a max of 2 boxes, 1 food caddy and 2 bin bags. But we're great at recycling and don't have a lot of rubbish for the bin bags, so we tend to use just one. For years now, we've just been shoving the stash under the cupboard and consequently have 3 shades of bin bag, reflecting the changes in council contracts over the years.

QueenJess said:@wishus I had a similar thing where our council issued everyone with specific colour bin bags for a whole year and you could only use those. It worked out at 2 a week, but we can’t fill more than half a bin bag every week. To be honest I throw little away and don’t usually have more than one bag of recycling - it’s all the cooking from scratch I think that does it!
I ended up with rolls and rolls of the stuff and every week I knew I was collating more. I asked the council if I could return them as you get charged for each extra bin bag you want to purchase if you use more. I thought they could use that as always much needed council funds. But no, they really didn’t want me to do that and told me to offer them to neighbours. So I gave some to people in my street and put the rest on Buy Nothing. They were all gone in a flash!Keep reading books!

Thankyou lovely friends for all the support and positive messages. about my familys situation. I will try to get some positives out it e.g. sort out some of their frogs, while they are staying with us.
Love the desk @TC77 I have an old desk which is where my computer sits. Its very deep with fewer draws. I think it may be a practice piece by an apprentice so we got it for £25 from an antiques shop. DH made it stable and usable. If it was for decoration only I would have an old typwriter and lamp on it.
Thankyou @Mrs_Salad_DodgerI spent most of yesterday in the TLC carriage. I popped out to take the neighbour to the doctors and DH to get some wood to fix the bed in the temporary flat. We are not complaining as we got it at short notice for a very small amount of money.
Oooooh. Big plans @GrannyKate. Good plan.
Love the snowdrops @vulpix. A little ping of spring right there. Very cheering
So today I am counting 1 bag out of online sales. DD and I are selling on Vntd as a trial. Doing ok. She is leading it though.
Today starts the real fun of frog chasing with Bil and SiL. They have outstanding debt where the paypoint payments for gas and electricity haven't been taken off their bill. They also should have had their meters upgraded last month but it didn't happen. Also banking stuff.
DD had a preliminary interview for a job yesterday. She was made redundant in October. She is signing on for the first time in her life today.
Prevented DS1 from falling into the trap of becoming a money mule. He was talking to someone on an American dating site who said they would pay him $1000 dollars a week just so they could chat privately. DS1 set up a ppal account obviously attracted by the money. He is a vulnerable to this sort of thing but alwasy comes to talk tom me,
