Morning Peeps,
well I finally ridded the back of my car of a bag that was destined for the tip. I tried to donate the contents (fit for animals) to no avail so I have cheated and filled the general waste bin with it. (It would be rude not to use up space)
UU disposed of not smelling great Vosene shampoo. It didn't have a date on it so may need to sniff in a store if it still smells like it used to do.
Passed on some SW magazines to a friend and subsequently found 2 more - have advised her and she will have them too.
Have been busy decluttering the wool remnants into the blankets I crochet and give to a charity. I'm really seeing the end and focussed on completing this task.
Take care all

Very happy about that (we have to buy our own).
Another pair of trousers that keep falling down to the charity pile. Total now 67.Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

Big hugs @nannywindow.
Thankyou @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. I am enjoying the process of getting rid of stuff a lot more this time round.
Had a lovely trip to see @vulpix .I did take some off vulpix to put IN the loft for the two struggling sons of mine. Bedding mostly. Thanks@vulpix
Tired today after tge trip although better than I thought I would be. I have been inspired by the clearing out @vulpix has done . Everything has its place. Also at her Mums. She as a zen sort of calmness when it comes to the clutter and its disposal.
So a bag of books went out to the Ashda charity table on Sunday. A box of books is filling nicely for the online buying site and I am going to do a bit of decluttering today.

I opened the spare room wardrobe to put my knee boots & favourite jumper away and did a quick edit - outcome was a pile for the chazzer & 4 things for Vinted (but I want to replace one with a bigger size, it's a long Monsoon boucle cardigan that isso useful but I will never be a size 10 again!). Will upload the Vinted stuff after I finish work.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Been doing just small amounts each day - started with tidying bedroom in small sections which has included going through some drawers to create more space for clothes which have been hanging around on the floordrobe. Lots more paper gone out or put on filing pile for when I can actually reach filing cabinet again.
Need to find more space for shoes and boots too to get them off the bedroom floor so project bedroom will continue over the next few weeks.
Food stocks still slowly going down although will need a sm delivery next week to top up a few essentials. OH very happy with the meals being produced - he grew up in poverty and used to worry where his next meal was coming from despite assurances that all was well - and he now trusts that I will look after him properly. I think this was why he’d collected so many tins and packets whilst on his own and is now ok about stock levels being dramatically reduced.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅19 -
Don't know what came over me this morning but I've sorted 3 cupboards in utility room and sorted some stuff in loft room
Bag or card making stuff needs a home and I've identified some dvds for charity shop. Binned some out of date masks, COVID tests and hand sanitizer
Managed to eat both my crumpets today and new air fryer should be here before tea I hope.
Wenh to shed for a box and wrote a to do list for another day when it's not raining
Had call to say windows being done on 5th February
Had an argument with hubby about me anting a new kitchen 😢19 -
1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Tuesday is an overcast damp & breezy day. I was up @ 12:40 & took the washing basket down - 1st load in once DH found his missing sock 😉 I count them in & out 😂The manual garage door won’t open for some reason 😔 😠 I think it has come off the runners. Currently very impatiently waiting for DH to fix it as I do need to get to the fridge/freezer. I got so caught up in reading the 2nd Richard Osman book that I finished it in the early hours of this morning & ended up going to bed at 05:00 😔 DH has managed to get the garage door open & has discovered that the spring that controls the speed at which the door closes has snapped 😬 He has tidied away the broken ends of the spring & is now upstairs costing parts & putting the job out to tender 🤞
Excellent work Liverpool_Anne not only decluttering but sorting finances, batch cooking & visiting with ln 👏 Thanks for the reminder about money bags - I have run out. Hope the tv provider sorted out the missing footy channel this morning 🤞Well done on reuniting at least some of your odd socks 😀
TheDoolallyDilly, hopefully the good start to today has been followed by a successful search & rescue mission for the bin 🤞
2Scratters, at least by fitting the bag into the bin you saved yourself from making a Tip trip 😉 Some good decluttering - magazines & wool 👏
TheDoolallyDilly 🥳 We also have to buy our own rubbish bins but not the recycling bins 😉
bit_by_bit, I will let you off putting bedding in the loft 😉 as I am sure your sons will be collecting it soon 😊 Sounds like you had a lovely visit with vulpix & she is having a positive influence “I have been inspired by the clearing out @vulpix has done . Everything has its place. Also at her Mums. She has a zen sort of calmness when it comes to the clutter and its disposal.” No wonder you are enjoying the decluttering ‘this time round’ 😊 Excellent decluttering of books 👏 & hopefully you will earn a few/lot of pennies for those being sold 🤞
Excellent decluttering Floss 👏 Look at it this way - at least you have been a size 10 😊 I went from girls to size 12 😂 Good luck with your listings 🍀
Excellent decluttering flamingo747 👏
Excellent work oceanspirit 👏 The ‘little & often’ approach to decluttering really does work 😊 It not only keeps your decluttering muscles active but it also keeps your motivation going 😊
Excellent decluttering Crazycatlady2 👏 Yippee to eating both your crumpets today 🥳 poor doggie must be sulking now 😢 Sorry to hear about the argument with your hubby 😔
The hob cleaning is on hold as we have just warmed up the hm soup/stew 😉 DH was distracted by the garage door so no dumplings - maybe tomorrow 🤞I am about to have a bowlful & will then decide what I will be doing for the next couple of hours 🙂

Poked my head out of the tlc carriage and sorted out some childhood photos of mine. Got rid of approx 1/3 on first pass, managed to do this while snuggling ds on the sofa because he has also came down with the cold last night and woke with a fever. We both had a lovely nap after lunch together which was lovely as we never got much chance to snuggle and snooze when he was littler because one of my dds would always be around. Nothing better than listening to the peaceful slumber of a little one!
And the universe has obviously decided I need the trouble/expense of my washing machine packing up today 🙄 I am going to laugh about it or I would cry so was coming up with all the ways that there could be a worse time for this to happen: if I had not managed to almost catch up, if we had run out of towels or school uniform and the number 1... if we had D&V. So mwah ha ha universe 😼
