The general consensus was that, depending what was in the letter, sending out letters to try and curtail rights is generally worse than just cutting off a relationship with you. In this case, you have no right to order McDonald’s from Uber, and Uber has chosen to no longer have you as a customer. Something they are perfectly allowed to do.1
