These are small money I know but why these corporations should be allowed to treat people as mugs? Take you money, leave your kids hungry and refuse a refund.

At least it highlights to them the issue, or if a driver is hungry 😶🌫️
Having watched a young lass put together all the orders for them to be delivered. I can see how easy it is to mess up, when drivers keep coming in, talking to them & looking in the bags, before they get sealed up.
Definetely not driver as the orders come sealed. And I accept the human error factor and would be prepared to live with the being an issue with say one in five orders. But issues with 4 in 5 is just too much ot tolerate, especially if the refund is refused.Life in the slow lane0 -

I realise that many people are unable to exist without food delivery takeaway services, but it's expensive, and usually not that good for you or your family's health. And the points have no value unless you keep going to McDonald's.
For example it's likely to be quicker (and cheaper) to make your own porridge, which you can top with whatever you fancy, rather than ordering porridge to be delivered (and I'm not talking about instant porridge, where you just add boiling water, which is disgusting)
We don't get takeaways as a rule. The only times in the last 9 years was the day we moved into our current place, and once during a kitchen refurbishment 4 years ago.
In the morning, I just pour a serving into a bowl, add semi-skimmed milk and microwave for 2 minutes.
I can then stir in jam/marmalade/ curd/syrup depending how I feel.
It's all in my cupboard so no disappointment.
Much more money saving than ordering porridge for your children's breakfast to be delivered.
If I think about it the night before I'll put the oats and milk together to soak in the fridge overnight, before cooking in the morning which makes for a creamier porridge.

The official message form McDoinalds on their app is that you have to contact Uber for any issues with the order, which doesn't make much sense as Uber are not the one who put the order together, but thats the process that McDonalds decided to adapt.

Clearly Uber are thinking someone is trying it on given the number of times it has happened.Life in the slow lane0 -
As I understood the opening post, OP has been 'blacklisted' by Uber anyway. I presume that means their account has been closed so going directly to McDs is the only option.0

If four out of every five orders was wrong I would have stopped using their service a very long time ago!5

This has to be a wind up. Nobody is that foolish.
