I’ve got washing on the line this morning and it is drying, albeit slowly. Mr KK even said, should he put his through the machine today instead of tomorrow as the forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow (I was quite impressed with him for that 😊), so we have and it’s about ready to go out. (He’s now raced off to go to the militaria sale set up.)

Another one here keeping🤞 that your DH is over the worst. Getting away next week will be good for all of you, you both need a break. Medications - my DH was sent home from hospital earlier this year with 9 of them! To be taken before bed, first thing in morning, before & after food, etc. I'm also on several too, to be taken at different times of day. I feel like a pharmacist when I'm laying them all out!
Washing done here too, although it's dull there is a breeze & I think this will be our last dry day for a while.

As I regularly take medication I use a different dosset box morning & evening & add others in as needed through the day. I do them on a Sunday evening. The excitement. Not.

I appreciate it so much that lovely MFW'rs and MSE'rs have taken the time, from your busy lives to pop in here and wish DH well. Truly, it means so.much.to.me that you are expressing your support.  I realise that (unfortunately) there are many households far worse off than us.  We're just trying to bumble along, and whilst the meds prescribed, or course of action hasn't always been quite right, we've had access to a system, and DH has been seen and helped along.  OK, so we're nearly 2 weeks into this, and there has been an economic cost (I'm not really talking micro/household level, although that is an issue), but fingers crossed (and I hope I don't jinx anything), we're possibly just now reaching a tipping point.  Whisper it, the meds may finally be reaching their target, although 'impaction' 🫤 is starting to be a concern 🫤 OP-8's - truly a double edged 'helper' ☹️

I've now brought all the washing in.  It's been a funny day.  It's looked like it's on the verge of pouring with rain all day - but has stayed dry.  It's been breezy, but the clothes didn't really move on the line, and it's been not cold, but neither has it seemed warm.  That said, the clothes and linens have dried better than I thought.  A couple of things are still quite damp, most everything else is dry-ish to the touch, or is dry, with damp patches where it has hung without moving in the breeze.  DH's work socks are the least dry, as a clothes set, but I'll check where we're at in the morning.  if they remain damp enough to go 'musty', I'll have to rewash them and then put them in front of the dehu.  With everyone at home, there is nowhere to set up the dehu (not a moan, just a statement of fact).

We all had tomato soup for lunch.  I took the opportunity to add in ginger, garlic, gochujang paste and the juice of a remaining lemon half.  I finished off the last of the basil plant that had valiantly limped on from the end of August.  I got it when we went on holiday together in a MrL box, and it partly died, and partly kept on growing.  Not bad, and it flavoured the soup.

The first of my MrS vouchers has tracked with my insurance purchase, so I'm pleased about that.  I suspect the other one will track by about this time next week.  Plus I am nearing £20 of n*ctar points gathered together.  I am thinking that these are going to be key - either in helping us to keep the grocery budget down in November, or, possibly helping to get 'treats' for xmas.  Although we don't 'go big' with December celebrations.  We don't have big family celebrations, and being veggie does keep costs down.  Of course we like nice food, but we all seem to crave 'ordinariness' after a day or two of treats and luxurious foods.  The vouchers and points could really help us out.

Considering we've had a very home-centric, quiet day, I feel we've achieved quite a bit in terms of MS type activity today.

Ta for popping by, and for your ongoing, generosity of support.  It's so appreciated.

You’ve just reminded me … I need to put the brought in washing on the clothes horse! Thank you 🙏

I’m so glad you may have reached a tipping point in the recovery arc for Mr GP … 🤞
Sounds like Mr GP might benefit from some grapes, raisins, sultanas or liquorice or some such …?
