Gosh darn it - you reminded me about washing earlier, but I didn't do anything about it and now you've reminded me again! 😂4

Apols sweetie - if it's any consolation, I only managed to wash what I 'could' , not necessarily what I 'needed' to wash and get dry. However, in these weather conditions, and with other things going on, I'm grateful for anything I can achieve 😁Cheery_Daff said:Gosh darn it - you reminded me about washing earlier, but I didn't do anything about it and now you've reminded me again! 😂

Good Morning MFW'rs
tmv - so far, so good-ish. Despite 'words' last night, because DH was going to take otc painkillers over the anti-b's (in the end he discovered he could safely take both), he is better this morning, than he was last night. The resting pain has certainly wound down a notch, although he is trying to eat a jam sandwich (rather than take pills on an empty stomach), and he's struggling a bit with chewing - it's done now. I will put the ear drops in too just now. He did get up in the night - but that's not new - but with yesterday's naps here and there, he's starting to get a bit more sleep, which I believe is as important as the meds.
A wash is on, as currently today is the only dry day the beebeecee are showing for the next week 😱I have a washing backlog, and it's difficult to sort out what's a priority - it's mostly all a priority now 🫤
In the end DH didn't have the bolognese for tea, but did demolish (slowly), another grilled cheese sandwich, followed by some natural yoghurt with banana and honey.
Right, I best do the drops, clear the airer and set up the second load of washing to go in.

Ooh, a bit more sleep is promising. As is a bit less pain. All fingers and toes crossed that continues.
I am pleased to report I finally put my washing on at 9pm last night 😂 obviously didn't dry before bed but it'll be ready for tonight, at least. Might put the quilt cover outside for a bit today to get a bit of outside smell 😊

Blimey, Mr GP is really going through it isn’t he…
Really hope he has turned a corner now and a quiet day today, without any ‘work guilt’, helps him a lot!
Does he go down properly ill like this often, or is he a bit run down? When are you meant to be leaving on your holiday?

KajiKita - he doesn't usually get things 'bad' - and usually is able to 'soldier on' (whether that's the right thing to do or not). Last time he was floored by something was c'vid I think - in terms of having quite a bit of time off work. But he's certainly not a serial 'absentee' - and when he complains about pain etc, it is reasonably easy to distinguish between 'not feeling too great ill person grumble' and 'sicky bad in agony - reach out for help', type murmurings.
We're supposed to be going away next weekend. 🤞

Fingers crossed he continues to improve - as I am sure he will if you keep checking he is taking all those pills and potions.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
@Greying_Pilgrim - what is it with men not taking their meds? - On days I'm wfh I can get OH to take his properly, but on the days I'm not, it means hoping he's not missed too many of them. I've now made it a ritual when I get through the door in the evening to ask him to run through what he's eaten, drunk and when he took his tablets. Men are certainly not the easiest creatures in the world to get along with when they are ill! Here's hoping your Mr has turned a corner and is now on the mend!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
