@Teaparty_mum, in my experience, dips are very normal. I finally learnt to accept them and make them into my quiet time, however long that may be. The most important thing is to be kind to yourself. I practice looking for the silver lining of every setback. If I don't get (a, it's because (b will eventually come along, or I find I change my mind and don't need (a, IYSWIM, whatever the situation.Teaparty_mum said:Hi to everyone, I hope you all are well ?
Sorry I’ve not been active lately but had a bit of a “dip” but I’m coming out of it now. Today I had my mental health appointment and my support worker is very pleased on how I’m doing even considering that I had a dip so that’s good news. Came out of the appointment to find out that it was raining which annoyed me because I had washing on the line but when I got home my DS had taken it in the house.
Then I cleaned the house and done everything that needed doing so now I’m sitting down catching my breath and enjoying the clean house. X

Thank you @dND it’s just something that I’ve got to expect and just look for the positives in the days. I do write in my journal and that helps massively and also meditation is a massive help, I also have started to go to yoga once a week and I have reiki in which I personally find beneficial.dND said:

Today I’ve just kept myself busy so I don’t have time to sit and overthink, the kids think I’m crazy but they understand (my DD calls me Monica from friends)
I hope you all are having a good day xx

My problem is the dips that come when you are already in a dip. Seem to be hit by several whammies at a time, especially this last week. Just keep telling myself that change will come - sometime.7

I have ordered a yoga mat as I was going to try and do some yoga at home on YouTube. I have heard that Yoga with Adrienne is good.
I don't know if anyone here in the UK shops at Holland & Barrett, but they have their advent calendar boxes on sale now. It is a real bargain as you get almost £220 worth of beauty products for only £45! A YT influencer mentioned it last year and they were sold out near me. I had to go into Stratford in London to find one.
Forgot to add pic of what you get.

It looks like a browse round TKMaxx, especially the red-stickered items.2

No, Holland & Barrett is a health food store here in the UK.Nelliegrace said:It looks like a browse round TKMaxx, especially the red-stickered items.
I don't know how you were raised but that seemed very rude as I was only helping people getting a bargain on a money saving forum.3 -
It looks like an absolute bargain @Wednesday2000. It is available online with free delivery or click and collect to your local store if you prefer. H&B is a treasure trove and the staff are very helpful and knowledgable, but I have seen a lot of those brands at TKM recently, and the red-stickered shelf is an interesting mix of bottles, boxes and tubs, always worth a good rummage. I can recommend Sukin shampoo which claims to be free from sulphates, silicons and harsh chemicals.2

@Wednesday2000 I personally find yoga very relaxing and helps my mental health and recently discovered stomach muscles that I forgot I had 😂
Ive got a Holland and Barrett’s in my town and I haven’t gone in there for a long time ! I used to go in there but I just don’t these days.

Wednesday2000 - I enjoyed Adrienne’s yoga videos although I probably move rather slower than her so I can’t stay in synch. She has the advantage of knowing what comes next! Very calming anyway, especially with her dog there. I would love to have a yoga space instead of having to drag the coffee table out of the way and ban everyone from the sitting room 😆 That was one of my summer disappointments; I thought I would get to start the days with a peaceful session in the garden but it was rarely nice enough.4
