Hello @Teapartymum, nice to meet you. It sounds as though you are on a big reset of life. Your self-care sounds very peaceful and great that you are walking your dogs.
So my plan today is to walk into the city along the riverbank and then going for some Indian food.
Really fancy a samosa!😋.
After that a quiet evening in with cupsa tea and some embroidery.
Have good days , fellow slowsters5 -

Thank you for the welcome, means a lot.
My plans for this evening is, taking my dog for his last walk of the day around 9pm ish (torch fully charged) with DS, then a bath and some embroidery that I’ve started doing again, then pick up OH then later on pick DD up from work as she’s working until the early hours as she is doing an apprenticeship at our local hotel so she starting at 6pm until finish (it’s a wedding and they have the room until midnight) then home and bed.Trying to change my life and will:money:4 -
@Teaparty_mum welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
I am glad you got a diagnosis for fibromyalgia. I did years ago and then changed doctors. For years I had a doctor who told me it didn't exist. But I can tell when I am in the fog - and when I come out of it. I am useless in the afternoon as I am so tired. I am changing to new doctors, but I have been afraid to say anything as they might say it doesn't exist too, even though it is listed here in the United States as a reason to get disability. So I am currently left in the lurch. I also have type 2 diabetes with neuropathy problems from it. I usually plan for three things to get done each day - and that is my limit these days. I don't count coming on here to read as one of the three as it is such a pleasure for me.7 -
Brie said:weird day chatting with my mom (!!!.) who was explaining to me (repeatedly) that that picture over there that she had painted (she did) had fallen off the wall (did it? when?) and some of the zinnias in that jug in it had fallen out and she's not sure it's as nice a picture as before. She still likes it though....

I also loved the zinnia comments. My legs are aching in a good way after my walk today. The walk was so interesting and its always good to be by water. I had my samosa and dahl which was really lush. Then treated myself to the latest LJ Ross book and had a mooch in Waterstones.
Now doing my sashiko embroidery and chilling. Swim planned for tomorrow morning g3 -

Ds and myself are just back from our last dog walk of the day but couldn’t go as far down our local green space as there were people playing basketball in the dark ??OH is out and DD is at work so myself and DS are just having a cuppa enjoying the peace and quiet, no tv on, candles and twinkling lights on, just the way I like it.Trying to change my life and will:money:5 -
@Teaparty_mum - It wouldn't be so bad, but I got the diagnosis almost 25 years ago. But can't get any help with it because of others doctors saying it doesn't exist. I'm still fighting it. I see another doctor in two weeks - so I will find out how they feel about it then.4
