no it was all separate mice - we got one out of the front door - I walked into the DR and there was another there...they were all removed within a couple of hours and I got one off the cat in the garden, before she had chance to bring it in!

Have had 8 hours sleep and just about to go to work. Hoping for an OK day. Busting out the neoprene for a swim after work. Then chill evening, fancy making a cottage pie and then will carry on with Fancy Scarf Mark Two

Hooray for finding the books, Brie. I would go crazy without them on a cruise. Well, maybe crazier than I am now.5

I'm having a very slow day today. I overdid the junk food and the wine last night! The film was good, but not as scary as the reviews said.
I am going to finish my current book and stay in my pyjamas today. All healthy food too.4 -
sort of planning a lazy weekend but pondering whether to do a roast dinner tomorrow and invite the aged Ps.

Congratulations to your DD, @Valli! She's obviously talented!
Our slow day yesterday was treating ourselves to a day at a NT property, complete with a cooked meal. I love cooking but it's good to try new things so I had pea and feta frittata, which was tasty. I also had my first ice cream of the season, and too much cappuccino. The gardens were lovely and it's got me thinking about mine.
I've also restarted C25K, as I haven't run for ages. Last night I decided there's no time like the present, so I went for a run at dusk, by moonlight and with the last of the bird song in the background. Perfect.
Today we went to the first car boot of the year: the mud was far enough under the surface to make it viable. There wasn't much I wanted (it was very windy so I suspect some people had left) but I did find a nice jumper. Car booting is a favourite activity but this year I've resolved to spend less and acquire less too.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Have had fab slow day today, swim then cooked breakfast in a cafe. Tasted so good. Then have spent the afternoon finishing off a summer dress, really pleased with it. Avo toast for dinner. Have rediscovered Shakespeare and Hathaway and am enjoying watching it. Cheesy but good and great views of Stratford in Avon. Knitting of Fancy Scarf Mark Two is also ongoing5

Congratulations to DD @Valli. And congratulations to you as it takes a really good parent to get a child to go that far.6
