Hello everyone, I didn't seem to be able to attach any text to the scarf of fanciness. I hope everyone is suitably impressed, ahem😂😁10

It's lovely-very impressed5

Very impressed - I make scarves, but can't seem to follow a pattern yet. I really admire people who can follow patterns so well.3

@Florafauna - I'm incredibly impressed!! 😳 it's colours are beautiful, the pattern on it is fab and the scalloped bottom looks amazing!! 😁 I'd be very proud of myself if I could create something like that!!'Happiness is not a destination but the journey you walk every day'

Thanks folks. It was the first proper pattern I had followed. The lady I bought the yarn and pattern from suggested using stitch markers which really helped. I'm planning to give it as a Xmas gift to a friend.
Busy non slow day at work is ahead of me then a lovely swim. It's lovely swimming in the light now as I can look at the trees and hear the birds.
Hope you all have a good day7 -
Lovely scarf.
I wasn't feeling too well yesterday as I seem to catch a cold almost every time I go back into London now so I had an extremely slow day having a long lie-in and then watching YouTube and TV.
I am feeling better today luckily so I need to go and pick up my prescription if it is ready and walk to the charity shop as it is near the pharmacy. I am looking for a "new" top to wear on Friday night and a dog toy for my cousin as she has a puppy. I haven't seen her in 25 years, but should be seeing her this weekend.

@Florafauna - enjoy your swim! 😁
@Wednesday2000 - I'm sorry you've felt poorly but glad that you're on the mend! How was Peter Kay? Good luck with your charity shop venture - I hope your meet up with your cousin goes well and you get lots of puppy cuddles 😊 I love puppies!! ❤️
Today is going to be lovely and slow - I've got a delivery coming this morning for my grandbaby so once its arrived I'm going to have a long hot shower, put on a face mask and meditate while it does its thing 😉 I will spend the afternoon reading and listening to music, drink lots of chamomile tea and stretch out on the sofa! We still have leftovers so no cooking required and my cleaner is here tomorrow so I'm not doing any housework either 😁 Bliss!!

Peter Kay was really hilarious, probably the best comedian I've ever seen.

@Florafauna - the scarf is beautiful 😍 I have never done any lace patterned knitting like that and am very impressed!I made some underwear yesterday and was quite pleased with the result. It was just using some spare bits of jersey cotton, an old t shirt and lace elastic and they are on the eccentric side in appearance but definitely wearable knickers. Although they don’t sound great from my description 😂 I had been thinking of having a go for a while but have been struggling over some other awkward decisions and therefore didn’t feel creative. I thought that I would do some sewing as therapy as I realised that postponing all enjoyment, just because I couldn’t sort my head out, wasn’t going to move me any further forward.
Hope everyone enjoys their slow plans for the day 😊10 -
We are going to see him, but not until December 2025!Wednesday2000 said:Peter Kay was really hilarious, probably the best comedian I've ever seen.
