Blackcircles
Anyone used them? First time using them for a tyre I need by next Tuesday. So ordered it, it arrived this Monday. Totally the wrong tyre, how do you get that so wrong. I call, they take details say they'll collect the incorrect one, can't give me a day and then send replacement. Nothing all week, no e-mail confirming this.
I call again, same run around, this time saying nothing was put on the notes from the last call. This time I call via works phone system so the call is recorded and I have access to the recording. Same as above, I ask for a reference this time. Told they don't give out ones. I said you must do as it states it when you call up, what is your ref.
Anyway. I call again today as still no e-mail confirming any of this. Again, they said no notes on the ticket. Half way through the call the woman I'm speaking to realises she the one that took the call yesterday. Says she gave them the details of the wrong tyre yet they claim they can't collect as its not the correct details. I said it is, it has Blackcircles label all over it. I've now said I'll take a photo and send that. I'll also cancel the order as it won't arrive before Tuesday now. She said they can't refund until they've seen the incorrect tyre.
Is it OK to do a charge back on the card? Then they can collect the tyre whenever, if I'm not in, tough, they can take it up with Nationwide. I have the recordings for both calls now because of this. Will never be using them again.

Used them twice, had no issues whatsoever, just for a bit of counterbalance.0

Used them many times, never had a problem with any of the deliveries (or fittings).
You can do a chargeback but seems more reasonable to just have the tyre returned and get a refund. Its likely they will defend the chargeback on the grounds you still have the goods0 -
I may just wait for the refund then once calmed down. I just don't understand how you get the tyres so mixed up.
Wanted a Dunlop 16"
They sent a Michelin 18"0 -

I have never used any of the online order type tyre places other than to get a price and then I have always managed to get a local tyre depot to price match them

I had them deliver to a local fitters years ago. Since then I’ve used Camskill, similar operation, never been an issue0

Now having real issues with them acknowledging this and collecting the incorrect tyre and giving me a refund. I thought they were based in Scotland but their call certain appears out sourced as I've had one person say "I'll put a note on as they are closed now". Its the weekend and the recordings sound different. I've recorded all calls I make to them now so I have now. The last one the person claimed no note was on the ticket, then half way through realised she was the one that had taken the call the day before. Then suddenly claimed she had put a note but that Blackcircle are claiming the tyre I've got isn't theirs. So I sent them a photo which she said would be fine and that they then could process the return.
I've called today only to be asked again what the issue is. I said I've given you the ref number from the e-mail I sent, it has it all on there. The photo of the tyre and my request for a refund. OK she said she'll have to check with the team what can be done. I said refund me is what can be done and then collect your tyre. She said she'll need to call me back. She did shortly after, said they'd process the return once received the tyre they'd process the refund but they'd collect the tyre in about 2 weeks! I said no, I'm away for 2 weeks after next week so won't be here. I want a refund and then you can collect the tyre. Failing that I'll do a charge back and you can fight it out with Nationwide.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to record that last call but she's said she'll process the e-mail now, start the refund then arrange to collect the tyre but that it again will take several weeks. I've said I could possibly have it collected from another address but that its ridiculous the collection time.
Will see what happens but so far they get 1 star for their support when things go wrong. I bet their life time warranty is also bad.0 -
Looks like another company that get it right most of the time but are often incapable of understanding that they can and have got it wrong and how to correct it - a bit like Amazon are at the moment.
