Its been 3 days since the weekend, 3 days of nothing from them regarding the call at the weekend where they said they'd process the refund and look at collecting the tyre that they said they can't collect for a few weeks (also originally claimed they couldn't refund until they got the tyre back despite saying they can't pick it up for a few weeks).
They've now had the cheek to send me an e-mail asking for me to review their great service! In filling that in it asked "Do you need us to contact you about your order/issue" I said yes, nothing. They haven't e-mailed regarding it or even tried to call.
REALLY REALLY bad customer service.
It's all done interbank. So Nationwide send chargeback to BC merchant bank. BC then have 45 days to contest your refund. 👍
Urgent tyre need, would rather ring round local tyre fitters. No wonder we are losing local retailers.
i mentioned before about local tyre outfits matching the price of the online tyre places, that way they get all the profit and arguably you will get better service0 -
I'll use local next time. Didn't know what tyre I needed, now I know.
As soon as Nationwide got involved, they finally replied to my e-mail and at the end hoped I'd use them again now they've processed my refund.
