You don't even need to enter the debit card either in the switch to be honest. It just works regardless. I've done a few switches out now from Chase, all very simple, and they keep you up to date even when the bank you're switching to doesn't, lol.
Well I've lost my £175 from Barclays because the debit card number had a typo and they cancelled the switch 1 day after the deadline... Good to know that you can just skip it!

So, what do you put in the 16 digit card field and expiry date of the bank whom your switching to from Chase, if you want to keep your main Chase Current Account & it's linked debit card?

As I mentioned you can leave it blank if the form allows you to submit without a debit card (some do, some don't), otherwise just use the card number and expiry date shown in your chase app. Just make sure it's correct as according to the poster above they do check if you've entered it, lol. As long as you have two current accounts open in the chase app when the switch goes through, the account left, and your debit card will stay active.

Do I need to link the current Chase debit card to my donor account just in case it’s needed for the bank switch or do I just input the debit card details from my main Chase account? IE is there any need to link it whatsoever?
Cheers!

When I inputted my debit card number in the barclays switch I didn't link the card to the donor account in Chase and the switch went through fine. Some other previous switches I didn't even enter the debit card number from chase at all, and it was also fine. So I don't think they're too fussed, that said if you do enter the debit card number make sure its correct as it being inocrrect can apparently cause it to reject, lol.

I read the above thread, just to confirm if my understanding is correct:Option 1:- Open an additional chase account (for switch to another bank)- Link the chase debit card with this additional account- Provide this additional chase account and linked debit card details in the switch application with another bank- When the switch completes, the chase additional account will closed but the debit card will not be cancelled and will automatically linked to the primary chase accountOption 2:- Open an additional chase account (for switch to another bank)- Do not link the chase debit card with this additional account, leave it linked with primary chase account- Provide this additional account and debit card linked with primary account details in the switch application with another bank- When the switch completes, the chase additional account will closed, even if the debit card was linked with primary chase account it will not affect the switch processAm planning to switch to Santander, not sure which option I should use0

I am now planning to switch an additional chase account to Santander and some users have reported the switch form is not going forward unless the debit card details are provided. So, I am planning to go with Option 2 above.
Would be interesting to hear from others who did the switch from Chase additional account to Santander using Option 2?0 -
I've just opened a chase account, pending debit card. How quick can i set up additional chase accounts and also switch? My Signature is MY OWN!!0
