Bumping this up for a new question ....

Whilst we have now been paid by Cahoot, unbeknownst to me the other half fired off an email to Maxjet (at the time they went bust) asking what the situation was.

Last week we received some documents/forms from the US to do with us being creditors and claiming our money back - don't have them in front of me to say exactly what they're called.

Would filling these in get us an a 2nd refund ?

I think everyone who was booked with Maxjet gets these, I have had several, just binned them.

It seems MAXjet has been bought up. See http://www.maxjet.com/ for details.

soooo.... the flights that still haven't taken place MIGHT actually take place, so in that respect MBNA are correct not to refund, as we now really don't know is happening!

We were stuck in Vegas and Maxjet transferred us onto a Virgin Economy flight home, are we still able to claim half the costs back even though we did get home? My fiance paid with his credit card.

I think that page on the site looks like it is going to be a company charter airline - we'll have to wait and see I suppose.
It would be great if it was reinstated, many people were getting to rely on Maxjet for regular flights - our friends live in Las Vegas for 6 months of the year and Maxjet was ideal for their journeys.
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

How long did it take for your credit card companies to get back to you? I sent a letter last week, so i'd like an idea of how long i should expect to wait. :D
