  • Hi first time posting.

I requested CCAs for three debts, two with the same DCA - Debt Managers Ltd.
the time for them to reply has run out, but it looks like the OC have sold on the Debts to another DCA, can they do this while the accounts are in dispute?

They should not do so - indeed the OFT considers it bad practice even to use more than one dca to chase the same 'debt' as it could cause confusion:

Have a word with National Debtline - 0808 808 4000 - they may suggest that you talk to Trading Standards.

I've sent two off, one for the loan and one for a credit card that's just been sold on. The 12+2 for the loan is up next week, so I'm expecting to have to send off the next letter. Royal Mail's website isn't showing whether or not the other one's been signed for, but I'm getting letters from them threatening to send the chocolate teapots round.

Also had a letter saying that the dca wont be chasing the overdraft after I offered token payments, so things are looking up!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

With both RMA and Moorcroft unable to supply a properly executed CCA for an Barclaycard debt I have received a letter from Barclaycard advising me that the application forms (not legible/no terms and conditions etc) they have sent me are adequate because their terms & conditions say so!!
I have pointed out the error of their ways to them.........politely of course!

I have just finished reading through this thread with interest, I have three small debts which seem to have been passed through at least 3 DCA's each & I am totally confused as to what they are??

So I have just typed up the letters & will post them this afternoon, recorded.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Hi, have just read through this thread as I am about to send off for my CCA, I have a few questions of my own to ask, but I will start my own post so as not to derail this very useful thread. Thanks again all.
