I feel your pain on the moths and nice jumpers. The bad chemical zero moth spray sadly seems to work better than the 'nicer' options which did an expensive nothing at all for our problem.

We have used industrial quantities of lavender smelly things but it was a waste of money.
  • Apologies, December got a bit hectic, I got sick, and clearly I forgot to update this thread! I have paid £365 towards my debt this month.

What about listing your daily spends on a spreadsheet and  colour coding them. That way you could easily see a weekly/monthly spend and think was it an everyday  essential or just a treat that you could cut out or reduce?

Poor MH and overspending/debt can go hand in hand. Have you had/Are you able to access therapy?

Well done on your debt payments and hope you're feeling better.

    Thank you @Spendless :)

I have a budgeting app that I use to categorise my spends so I can see where the most ££ is going! I am also attempting a clothing and beauty no-buy this year, which I am tracking the old-fashioned way in my diary.

I have done lots of therapy in the past but to be honest I have never found it helpful. I am trying to focus on healthier habits like exercise, good food, sleep, and getting outdoors.

Re moths... I got the moth decoy and corrector box from these people and it works really well. I also have a wardrobe smelly thing.   https://www.totalwardrobecare.co.uk/

I use bars of soap in all the drawers and fabric out of season clothes storage "boxes" which also get lavender bags and soap.
