Hello @enthusiasticsaver, not heard from you for a while. Hope you are well. I would like to join again. I did start this year, but fell by the wayside due to one thing & another. Would like to start again in Jan though, with new motivation.   I was #12 this year, if its available.

Hello everyone,

Here is my first Friday update for the 2024 challenge.

This week my random number picker app gave me:
304, 221, 158, 205, 121, 110 and 320 = 1439 so £14.39 going into the pot.

I'm not sure what number I am yet as @enthusiasticsaver hasn't confirmed.
Will update with bold once I know.

I will allocate numbers and sort out the spreadsheet and updates in January as the challenge does not officially start until then.  Feel free to post on the thread but I probably will not get around to updating for a few more weeks yet.

Good morning all, here is my Friday update:

184, 50, 59, 180, 181, 142 and 162 = 958 so £9.58 going into the pot.

My new total for the 2024 challenge is £23.97

I am slightly confused so can you clarify?  This challenge 2024 does not start until 1 January 2024 but your December contributions for 2023 are empty so you have not finished the current years challenge.  Did you mean to post on this thread or the current challenge thread? 

I have the total saved in 2023 for you as £587.92 against a target of £667.95.

I think it will be too confusing to give you 2 numbers. Just double the amount or maybe look at the savings challenge on the saving forum where you set your own target? I run that one too. It is called Save £12k in 2024 but it doesn’t have to be £12k.

Hi @enthusiasticsaver, I was in the 12k save challenge for many years but ducked out this year as I was a terrible saver.

If its easier just put me down for one challenge please?
