  • I will be good to mention to local newspapers too? T & A
  • Has anyone got bailiffs coming around, I’m worried
  • There are a lot of people in this situation, including my father, SSB law have mainly targeted vulnerable groups of people and have left 100+ people in debt which they should have paid. A lot of people are now having to pay these debts otherwise they risk losing their homes, it’s disgusting what SSB law have done. You can contact me on Facebook Qurrah Ahmed and I will add you into the group. I have a meeting with Hugh James on Monday who has agreed to deal with this case as a professional negligence and will update you accordingly.

Are they dealing with it on a no win no fee.

    Please add me,
  • We all need to pool our effort/knowledge and money to get out of the this scam, I think individually  we will be wasting time and money including not knowing if we are heading the right way
  • It is near impossible to get out of paying the defendants costs. If the courts thought it was illegal they wouldn't have issued Charging Orders against people's properties. The only thing that can be done is try to negotiate a settlement with the defendants lawyers and then try to go claim against SSB LAW through SRA and a negligence case.
  • Has anyone tried and tested anything yet

I came to the same conclusion and decided I had to pay off the costs in full. I am going to be applying for a mortgage soon and dont want this hanging over my head. I will hopefully get the certificate of satisfaction from the courts today which I can share with the credit reference agencies. Its not ideal and it will stay on my credit history for a couple of years but its the best outcome I can get in the current situation.

I agree with alix- we do need to come together on this. Rather than trying to get into whatsapp groups etc can someone create a Facebook group and then share the link. I'm sure many hundreds of people are affected so this might be the best way to reach out and bring people in.
