SSB Law - failed cavity wall insulation claims - anyone in the same boat?

Hi, I’m not going to detail the circumstances of my mother and father in laws case because it’s almost identical to all on here…. They’re elderly, very vulnerable and both have physical and mental ill health. They were targeted and due to the state of the defective cavity wall they pursued this only to get the work remedied…. They weren’t interested in big compensation like some people on here are insinuating.

However they are absolutely distraught to find themselves in this no win situation and are rightly worried about any and all legal advice so I’m trying to help them out. Please can I be added to the wotsapp group @darksky12

They haven’t had any legal demands and have no idea what they owe. Before SSB went into administration we raised a complaint of harassment against SSB and were under the impression their case had been closed with no financial penalties. However they received a letter from SSB administrators months later saying their file was being passed on, which I responded too forbidding them from sharing any information with any third party, and now this week they’ve been contacted by JMR and told if they close the case they owe £8k!! We need help and advice. We’ve been to CAB and MP who have said they can’t help until they receive demands which they haven’t yet, but the stress has now caused my FIL to have a stroke and I need it resolved
