6 tickets issued in 8 days - is there a Data Protection issue?

I moved into a new property 13th November. The bay the exiting tenant used was not reallocated and I used it while moving stuff into the house.
On 21st November there was a windscreen sticker, I wrote to the landowner (my landlord) to ask to have it cancelled, as a new tenant I have applied for a permit but not been given one yet, and I was using an unallocated space while moving into the house. There reply was no chance, if you did not have a permit you need to appeal directly with Elite. I read through the newbies template and saw to wait until day 25.
Yesterday I received an email from Elite parking, with whom I'd had no previous contact,
It goes on to list the PCNs and the appeal process.
When I log in to view the PCNs there were photographs of all incidents taken by a handheld camera (not ANPR) yet no tickets were affixed to the window. I have a distant memory of some rules about a ticket must be issued if physically possible, am I correct?
I was shocked my landlord would pass on my private information, email etc to the parking company. Would I have any recourse for this?

Your below email has been forwarded for my attention by your landlord.
Please be advised that I have looked into this matter and can see that 6x PCN's have been issued to this vehicle.
We have sent correspondence to the Registered Keeper address as provided by DVLA and it may appears that you have not have updated DVLA with your change of address. Please be advised that this is a legal requirement.
In consideration of your circumstances, I am happy to cancel the PCN (Ref: XXXX), issued 21/11/23 however the other PCN's remain outstanding and will need to be paid or appealed.
I have attached a list of the PCN's for your reference as you will need the references. In addition, appeal instructions have been provided. Please be advised that an appeal needs to be submitted within 28 days from the date of issue.

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

Didn't that email exchange achieve the desired result - the cancellation of the ticket about which you were complaining? You need to urgently update your V5C (logbook) with the DVLA (£1,000 fine possible if you don't) and update your driving licence too. You have to do both separately; they can be done on line.
Then, go about appealing each of the outstanding tickets - each one separately, you can't do a single appeal to cover all. There's an initial appeal template for you to use in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post. Please do read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement as it will guide you through the process you need to follow. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I don't mean suing them, but possibly making a complaint about how they are handling data.
It did appear to get the ticket cancelled, however I still don't think they should have passed my info over. There response to me didn't say they were doing this either, but that I would need to contact Elite.
I had already changed my v5 and licence, the new ones arrived this morning.
I did say in my first post, I'd read the newbies thread and was following the advice in there. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -

Maybe the ICO, I want the landlord to understand what they've done is in breach of data protection and to take steps to make sure they don't do it in future. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

I think your landlord has done you a MASSIVE favour! You should be thanking him.- he's got the windscreen one cancelled.
- he's got you alerted in time to appeal the other five.
Your focus is wrong, IMHO. He's really helped!
Go quickly (this week) to the address your car's V5C has on it, and pick up your post.
You realise there will be a new NTK every day?
More coming, unless you've stopped parking there. Make sure you continue to collect that post every week - and why don't people set up Royal Mail redirection these days? It's normal to do that... at least it always was!
Show us all 5 NTKs asap please, go get them urgently!
Might be easy to kill them all off but we need to see the dates & wording on all of them (and a copy of the back page).
Accept the cancellation of the windscreen one by return, and tell the ex-clampers you'll be appealing the rest but to stop harassing you and to note your new address FOR ALL PCNs now and future is:
NEW ADDRESS
and under UK GDPR they must now erase the old address from each and every PCN file.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I didn't use redirection as I thought I'd changed my address with anyone who would contact me, and money is tight.
I've asked the new people to forward on my mail, (it's 300 miles). I moved on the 13th and changed my V5/licence on the 14th, but they'd gotten my address from DVLA on the 13th, and used it for each ticket after that.
I stopped parking there as soon as I got the windscreen ticket.
Do I include this in my reply to them

Some postal mailings are prepared months in advance, so you would have to give a lot of advanced notice to be certain all mail would come to your new address. Royal Mail are under no obligation to forward mail that has been "manually" redirected without an official redirection in place - such items could be returned to the sender or, given the companies attitude to revenue, forwarded to you but each item surcharged £5 for not having any postage on it.1

If you want to double-check that Elite accessed the DVLA database every time they issued a ticket, then follow the standard advice I give:You should email the DVLA and ask which organisations (when and for what reason) accessed the registered keeper's data from them between a range of dates which includes the date(s) of the parking incident(s). You need to provide the registered keeper's full name and address, the address on the V5C logbook and the Vehicle Registration Mark of the vehicle involved in the parking incident.SubjectAccess.Requests@dvla.gov.ukThis service is free of charge.Even though you email your request, the DVLA will respond via Royal Mail. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
